I have 2 x 6tb disk ( 1 parrity , 1 data) I want to replace them with 2 x 10tb disk (first replace one disk ) " If all you want to do is replace your Parity drive with a larger one, then you don't need the Parity Swap procedure. Just remove the old parity drive and add the new one, and start the array. The process of building parity will immediately begin. (If something goes wrong, you still have the old parity drive that you can put back!)" But I then see this "IMPORTANT!!! This procedure REQUIRES that the data drive being replaced MUST be disabled first." So do I first disable the array . Take out the {arity disk , put in the bigger disk and it will re-build the array ? Then in a month or so I can then replace the old 6Tb data disk ? nas2-diagnostics-20201026-1414.zip

ok i found another USB. Got the system back up and running sort of. I copied the basic.key network and ident cfg files to the new usb. it gave the unraid the correct network and name. Got the new replacement KEY. YES IT IS ALL BACK UP AND RUNNING !!! I still have my data . THanks god. Now I have to install all the apps again So happy

i have to find a spare USB and give it ago.

Ok I sent a email to support requesting a new key (transfer key). nas2-diagnostics-20181021-2038.zip I can't do anything until the key is sorted out. As I am getting a Blacklisted USB Flash GUID Flash Vendor: SMI Flash Product: USB_DISK Flash GUID: 090C-1000-0000-000000000000 I have attached the diagnostic file from the new USB flash disk. I believe I did mange to sort out which disk is the main disk and which is the parity . I log a call ages ago about parity There it has what disk is what.

It see the two disk. But I dont know which disk was my main disk and the other parity .

ok i got the new USB up and running. The web interface is up and running too . Now I need to get a new key or can i use my old key ?

Its just not my day. I have downloaded the USB creator onto 3 different PC and they wont pick up the formatted USB flash disk. I got to find another disk to try it out

I did that and tried it from the NAS itself via GUI no luck. And I tried it from my pc no luck. I'm really starting to worry that I lost my data.

I tried that but no luck. Still cant get the web dashboard up. I change it from yes to no then shutdown. restarted it in GUI mode and when I went to the web interface. Still no luck .

PLEASE HELP. I took the flash disk out and Windows did a diskscan. All good. Then i placed the flash disk back into the pc. Unraid booted up with the correct Ip. I can ping it and telnet to it. But thats it. I can access the unraid web page. I cant access the shares. PLEASE HELP. I hooe i havnt lost any of the data. I dont know what to do.

Cool.first i will do a scan of the drive . But before i do it i should back up the configuration like you have advise. Is there a web page showing how to do this ?
