At night I turn completely off my windows 8.1 PC not sleeping mode, I have now changed my network drive to IP instead, lets see if it makes any difference, have to wait to tomorrow to know if it worked. But I have a feeling it might be something else because it not only the network drive also when clicking on network then computers and click the NAS computer that is on the network it is not accessible until I re-plug the Ethernet.

yes that works if your smart TV have a plex app or have a good web browser. Unfortunately my TV have a really bad "smart TV " functionality (Panasonic VIERA VT60 50" - plasma). Here is a list of some supported plex smart tv: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/204080173-Which-Smart-TV-models-are-supported- PS. after the installing plex on your unraid server, from your server computer you have to go to: http://localhost:32400/web or http://127.0.0.1:32400/web and sign in to your plex account. I did not mention that in the instruction that I link to in my first post.

Hi, I just built my NAS I'm using unraid plus 6.3.5, I have an issue with it where its on 24/7 but in the mornings when I try to connect to the network drive from my windows 8.1 computer It can not connect , but it still works to connect to the webGui of the nas from my W8.1 pc, so the network works to some degree, but to make the network drive work again I have to pull out the Ethernet cable from my NAS then plug it in again then it instantly works again. I don't have a router just using a simple switch: TP-Link TL-SG105 - 5-Port / Gigabit Switch / Unmanaged, and the NAS MB: asrock c236 wsi.

Thanks, yep the "&" was the issue I renamed it instead to MoviesSeries and now it works.

I'm trying to setup PLEX on my unRAID server I just built, I have not used PLEX or unRAID before, I am following these instructions have also watch various videos, but at the end of step 3 when I click apply after added my movie path, I just get an error. I am using unRAID Plus 6.3.5 My Path that I set and the error I get:
