  1. Parity just finished checking and it looks like I did lose some data: Not sure what though...But it's all working some I'm happy
  2. Thanks, as long as majority of my data is still there I'm happy camper, serves me right for having no patience.
  3. Sorry I got impatient I managed to resolve this. I stopped the array, took a print screen of the drives positions, telnet and ran "initconfig" then "/root/mdcmd set invalidslot 99". After than I refreshed the page, reassigned all the drives to their correct slots, checked the box "Parity is already valid" and click start. Seems to have done the trick, all my data is still there...Running a parity check just to confirm all is good.
  4. Hi, I was opening my HP Microserver and before it had completely shutdown, like an idiot I bumped a cable and now have a red dot on my disk 4. How can I force the array to just use that disk as normal and that it has not failed? Currently running: reiserfsck --check /dev/md4 but I think it should come back all good. What's the process from there? Thanks!
  5. Hi, I currently have 6 x 2TB drives in my array including parity. 1 of my data drives has died. It will take 1 week before I will get a replacement from my supplier. Today I bought a 4TB for my other PC. Instead of putting the 4TB in my PC, will be work if I stick that 4TB in my NAS and rebuild parity etc until my replacement 2TB drive arrives? I want it to only use half of the 4TB, but I just want to run protected again so I don't lose everything. Then when my replacement 2TB drive arrives I will pull out the 4TB and put in the 2TB. Thanks!
  6. Believe it or not, this bullshit still happens. I've just updated to the latest RC: unRAID Server 5.0-rc16c AiO It's only WebGUI that has issues, CP/SAB/SB/MySQL all open first time, everytime! Don't understand how I'm the only one :'( EDIT: Just updated SimplFeatures and now it loads instantly! ;D ;D ;D ;D EDIT 2: Ok I spoke to soon, still happening. I've deleted simplefeatures webgui, will update on how it works later this week. EDIT 3: Yip it appears with Simple Features gone, the webgui does not hang or fail to load! Guess I'll be going without simple features from now one.
  7. The issue appears to be your Windows 7 PC. I would get hold of a laptop, give it a static IP or 192.168.0.200 and set it to "WORKGROUP". Then plug it into your cable modem and see if you can ping the NAS. Also I see your NAS is not static, it's IP is now 12. Log into your router interface and make it static....
  8. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. Right now I'm without issues on version 5. I'm a happy customer and would be happy with waiting till Jan 2013 before the next major release. If however I was having issues, I would more than likely be singing the same tune as you.
  9. There is a plugin: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=20848.0 Wget it to your plugins folder and use the command: installplg opensshd-0.5-i486-rj.plg
  10. Yes that's your public ip address. How are you connecting to your NAS? Wired or Wireless?
  11. You push the print screen button on your keyboard...It's next to scroll lock and pause
  12. That means you have all those network connections on your box. Either tunnels or vpn connections. What OS you running? Start > Run > ncpa.cpl {Press Enter} Print screen that if you can please.
  13. I don't understand your ipconfig....its says media disconnected for all... You should see at least 1 that looks like this: Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.14 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1 Try ipconfig without the /all switch Start > Run > ipconfig {press enter}
  14. Start > Run > cmd ping tower {Press Enter} ping -a 192.168.xxx.14 {Press Enter} ipconfig /all {Press Enter} Please paste the results from those 3 commands...
  15. Your IP address is an internal address so you don't need to mask it Start > Run > \\Tower {press enter} Start > Run > \\192.168.xxx.14 {press enter}
  16. 1. When you access via the browser do you use a hostname or IP? 2. When you ping your hostname is the IP the same as it has always been? 3. Can you hit \\tower\flash ? 4. Do you have a host file entry pointing to your machine?
  17. There is a how to here: https://github.com/Influencer/UNplugged/wiki/How-to-Install-Plugins Simple: Go to \\Tower\flash\config Create a folder called plugins. Then just download the PLG's for the plugins you want and then drop them in that plugins folder and reboot and they will auto-install. Or you can manually install them with the command "installplg xxxxxxx.plg". I recommend the Influencer plugins: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=21260.0
  18. Done that many times. Even tried excluding unraid site from keeping cache and storing offline data, didn't help. Also lainie how can it be a plugin issue if with the very same browser with the same plugins enabled work fine when Charles is open? I have a friend who is experiencing exactly the same issue, although he's given up trying to fix it.
  19. Well it's not a proxy in the true sense of the word. Charles listens on 127.0.0.1:8888 and redirects your traffic through it, so the traffic is all still local. I can drop my internet connection and still connect to my NAS with Charles open. But you have a good point about the addons. Maybe it's one of them causing an issue. I will start Firefox in safe mode and try enable them one by one
  20. I have a bookmark that points to http://Tower. But yeah every now and then if I change the hostname to an IP it will load after a few refreshes, even while the hostname is hanging. I do have a host file entry point the IP to tower..
