  1. Is there a way to cancel a downgrade after you click it... i meant to check if there was upgrade and i clicked the wrong option.
  2. I would like to add some speedy cache to my unraid box... I have used all of the SATA ports, and i connect my spare NVME drive to the slot i will lose 2 sata ports on the motherboard. I am ordering a PCIe 3.0 (PEX4M2E1) NVME PCIe M.2 Adapter https://www.startech.com/en-us/hdd/pex4m2e1 I know i am going to need to upgrade my license to move beyond 6 drives. But before I buy the upgrade license i want to make sure that this card will work with Unraid. Has anyone done something similar, are these generic cards that would have linux/unraid support?
  3. I am currently experiencing an issue with my system becoming unresponsive when copying data. I have approximately 1tb of data I am copying into my array and after a period of time the system becomes unresponsive. No access to ssh, no terminal, no web... no access and I am forced to restart the array. I am copying from a mac into unraid and not using any special copy utilities. I have attached my diagnostics bundle from after the restart. tower-diagnostics-20181023-2157.zip
  4. Thanks for the help you guys are awesome!! I have a brand new cable that will be going into it. Is it ok to stop a parity check to install the new cable? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have posted the diagnostics. I have also posted an audio file containing the noise I am hearing. It will be just around the 11-13 second mark
  6. Newb here with a problem though I am not exactly sure what the issue is. Tonight i started playing a media file from my unraid box and i noticed a weird sound coming from array. Please note that is not something like a dell or some other server grade hardware I am running. Its a AMD A series processor, 8 gb of ram and 4 segate 2TB drives. After looking at the system logs and information on the drive that is running a high temp I found the following things. I am hoping that someone can help me decipher what is going on. Cable issues, PSU, failing drive? I am not really sure Smarctl report https://pastebin.com/jKcxsNfn Syslog https://pastebin.com/nwKkadgP Thanks for any assistance.
