  1. 3 days ago, my plex server stopped working and my bootable flash drive was completely empty.  I was told to create a new bootable flash drive and copy over my reg key to its config folder.  After figuring out which of my drives was my parity drive, I created a new config and selected my parity drive and my data drives.  After parity check finished, I was told all 54 TB's of my were erased.  So, I started to move a few files back onto the new array and then I get this fatal error.  Someone help, olease

  2. So, you are saying, that my unraid server was hacked, and that my entire drives are cleaned of all data, and unraid didnt have anything in place to prevent my drives from being cleaned.  Is unraid that vulnerable to outside hackers.  I mean, it takes me almost 24 hours to just do a parity check, and it takes me almost as long to replace a failed drive.  So, they were able to scrub my drives instantly.  I guess what Im asking, is it worth trying to rebuild everything in unraid, if I could be targeted again.  I might as well lust turn my unraid server into a windows computer

  3. Not sure what happened, but came home this morning and the parity check was done, and came back

Last check completed on Sun 21 Mar 2021 08:04:46 PM PDT (yesterday)
    Finding 0 errors  Duration: 21 hours, 57 minutes, 29 seconds. Average speed: 126.5 MB/sec

Parity disk(s) content will be overwritten

Now all my disks are showing empty.

Don't tell me 54 TB worth of data is gone

  4. I'm there with you.  My usb flash drive is empty.  I also have my registration key.

My question is do I create a new usb bootable startup drive and then copy it to my config file and then reboot my server.

I have no idea which of my drives are my parity drives and which are storage, and what order they were installed in.

  5. Your suggestions worked.  once the permissions were fixed, I had to delete where I mapped the Tower drive to in windows explorer.  Rebooted, disconnected the mapped tower drive in network places and remapped the drive at the command prompt.  Not only can I now drag and drop from windows into my server again, but I am able to transfer at speeds of 80-110 mb/s.  Most I ever got was around 20-40mb/s.

    Thanks again Itimpi
