  1. I had sabnzbd installed and working fine until I rebooted my machine today.  When I try and install the sab package, it hangs and won't download.  I removed the plugin and all traces of it and re-installed but still no success.  (using the latest from github).

I think it hangs on the version check.  It never downloads the sab src.tar.gz package.  Attached is a screengrab of the output.

My other Influencer packages CP, sickbeard and airvideo all install fine.

    Is anyone else having issues?

PS Thanks to Influencer for the great plugins.

well, here is the same ;(

    root@Tower:/boot/config/plugins# /etc/rc.d/rc.sabnzbd start

    Installing latest version of SABnzbd...

tar: /tmp/SABnzbd--src.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory

tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

cp: cannot stat `/tmp/SABnzbd-/*': No such file or directory

    ... OK

    Starting SABnzbd: sudo -u root python -OO /usr/local/sabnzbd/SABnzbd.py -d -s 0.0.0.0:8090 --config-file /mnt/cache/unraid/apps/sabnzbd --pid /var/run/sabnzbd/ > /dev/null 2>&1

python: can't open file '/usr/local/sabnzbd/SABnzbd.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory

  2. I think the real competitor, or one of them... may be born with the appearance of the arm boards like the new KTT30 with a Tegra 3 CPU.

Arm processors can launch the energetic consumption to levels unthinkable until now.

Also know which competitors are able to make the Arm version.

  3. The first 5 and last 4 lines are a known nuisance (harmless), awaiting an update to SimpleFeatures and/or the kernel.  As to the sixth line, the author of the overtemp script can tell you if a return value of 1 is a good or bad thing.  As to the seventh line, the segfault occurs in ld, called by some tool or script, and again, you may need to await an upgrade to that tool or library.

    tks!

  4. Hello

  5. ZFS is an amazing raid/file system without a doubt.  I have looked at napp-it too.  I have even downloaded it along with solaris 11 express and openindianna..not sure which Ill go with.

Does zfs allow only spinning up the one drive that has your needed data?

    That's golden to me :)

For me too! unRaid it spinning up only one drive, and it all the possibilites too use diferent disks is real unique!

  6. I have a Sapphire E350M1 and i got 15MB/s when i write, but if i launch two write i got 2x15MB/s, maybe need to change something in Linux settings.

And the parity syncing is very slow 1-3MB/s.

I also have the Sapphire E350M1. Fantastic board. No Realtek NIC so no LAN problems. Slow transfers of about 15MB/s when using unRaid cp or rsync to transfer files from my Windows box to unRaid. But 45MB/s using Windows box to do the same transfers. This is with no parity installed. Parity check on an old SATA drive was at 75MB/s.

The only problem with this motherboard is that the first two 2 of 6 SATA ports do not recognise my Hitachi 3TB hard drives, although they recognise smaller drives. May just need a new bios from Sapphire. Three other ports work fine with 3TB drives. Haven't checked the 6th port yet. Overall I'm more than pleased so far. Using unRaid 5.0b10.

Just an update. The problem with hard disk detection was caused by a bad pin on a power cable. I now have a total of 6 3TB Hitachi drives working in unRaid. Used an e-SATA to SATA cable to mount the 6th drive. That gives me 15TB + parity without using any SATA/SAS cards! I can't recommend this motherboard enough  ;D

The power consumption, specially in idle mode from a cool board like this is... Do you know ?
