  1. Hi, can I ask how you know this? Keen to learn more about troubleshooting the logs. Cheers, Harry
  2. Hello, I have been running Unraid for many years and have recently been plagued by drive failures. Today's failed disk is the 4th in 4 months and I'm starting to suspect it may be other components. Is there any way to tell from the diagnostics if this issue is something other than the HDD failing? I'm happy to replace this disk as it's 3+ years old, however want to ensure there are no other components failing or needing replacement (SATA cables or motherboard) Cheers and thanks in advance, Harry tower-diagnostics-20211018-2009.zip
  3. Fantastic! I've just ordered 2, one for the top and one for the bottom. They are expensive, but I've had issues with cheap Molex to Sata power cables before and it's the last thing you want to deal with on a NAS build.
  4. Oh man, great advice. I'll review the ram and the PSU. Will look into a couple of high quality 3 connector SATA power cables.
  5. Folks, My 10-year-old unraid server just died. I'll be using the 6 old hard drives in my new system with no intention to increase drive count. This is right on for budget ($AUD). Please let me know what you think of my new build below. Have I made any mistakes? 6. For testing purposes your can set your permissions to fully accessible by everything with: chmod -R 777 /mnt/cache/music
  7. I can confirm that updating this in the app works fine. I'm wondering if the conf can be locked to a specific tag/commit and then further updates are done in app?
  8. Just want to say thanks for the modules prostuff1 and add a little bit of my experience with the Sab + Sick + Couch suite. I've installed each of them multiple times on and off my cache drive. Everything has gone well except that most recently I copied the Sabnzbd installation directory from disk1 to the default location and now Sabnzbd doesn't show anything in the Queue. I know stuff is in there downloading, but it's not showing up. I'm going to do a fresh install tonight which I think will fix it. One question that I haven't seen a reasonable answer for yet: How do you upgrade the applications? Is it required that the conf is updated or can the application upgrade itself? Cheers and thanks again for the good work.
