  1. Sorry for resurrecting old thread. I removed an unRAID setup from a domain a while back, and ever since the SMB share permissions haven't worked like they do when set stock. Will this fix that issue and make it so the unRAID user permissions work. Right now either I open up a share to everyone, or no one can access it. Thanks,
  2. Hello, Fix Common Problems is tossing a warning that Write cache is disabled on disk 1. I'll post my diag file. I know disk 1 has some issues with it from age in the form of some reallocated sectors. Is the drive finally just ready to be replaced? Thanks, -CM- maxnas24-diagnostics-20190517-1215.zip
  3. ...and there it is! Now things really make sense. Thank you very much, and happy holidays.
  4. I know. I actually have three unRAID setups. This is the one that is active nearly 24/7. I have the others up to the latest, but I’ve been slacking on this one because of the down time. I will make it a point to get it done soon. Cheers,
  5. I think I saw a pop up saying something about 70% disk usage, but it hasn’t come up but only once, and not since it hit 70%. Now that I know it’s 75% I won’t stress, and just keep an eye on it. Thank you you for the quick reply.
  6. Hello, Ive been running my unRAID server on 6.3.5 for almost two years now. I’ve got my directory splitting set to auto on my share. All my drives wrote to 50%, and moved to the next drive like it should. Now that it’s back to writing to the first drive it hit the 70% wall, and is still putting more new data onto that drive even after it’s up to 74%. My question is why is it not writing to the next disk after 70%, and how do I get it to do this properly before the top disk fills up? Would updating the OS fix this? I know I am behind, but everything has been working perfectly until now. I have 12 8TB HGST drives with two set as parity for a total of 80TB usable. Cheers, CM
