  1. i ran the XFS repair check with options -nv and here are the results:

Phase 1 - find and verify superblock...
            - block cache size set to 1123768 entries
Phase 2 - using internal log
            - zero log...
    zero_log: head block 341667 tail block 341667
            - scan filesystem freespace and inode maps...
            - found root inode chunk
Phase 3 - for each AG...
            - scan (but don't clear) agi unlinked lists...
            - process known inodes and perform inode discovery...
            - agno = 0
            - agno = 1
            - agno = 2
            - agno = 3
            - process newly discovered inodes...
Phase 4 - check for duplicate blocks...
            - setting up duplicate extent list...
            - check for inodes claiming duplicate blocks...
            - agno = 0
            - agno = 2
            - agno = 3
            - agno = 1
No modify flag set, skipping phase 5
Phase 6 - check inode connectivity...
            - traversing filesystem ...
            - agno = 0
            - agno = 1
            - agno = 2
            - agno = 3
            - traversal finished ...
            - moving disconnected inodes to lost+found ...
Phase 7 - verify link counts...
No modify flag set, skipping filesystem flush and exiting.

  2. any one make anything out of this?

Apr 13 05:41:21 Paxton kernel: smpboot: CPU0: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4150 CPU @ 3.50GHz (family: 0x6, model: 0x3c, stepping: 0x3) Apr 13 05:41:21 Paxton kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: Machine check events logged Apr 13 05:41:21 Paxton kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: CPU 0: Machine Check: 0 Bank 5: ae0000000040110a Apr 13 05:41:21 Paxton kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: TSC 0 ADDR fef86dc0 MISC 78a0000086 Apr 13 05:41:21 Paxton kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: PROCESSOR 0:306c3 TIME 1618306857 SOCKET 0 APIC 0 microcode 28

  3. here is what my Qnap has for specs:

    Qnap TVS-1271U-RP

    CPU i3-4150 3.5ghz dual core 4 threads

    24 gigs of ram

    dual channel support

12 3tb drives -i'm not sure but i want to look into 4TB drives and get rid of the WD drives and go Seagate

    2 samsung SSD 850 256Gig  cache drives

Sorry internal cache ports are two KINGSTON SMS200S3240G 608ABBF0

    now here is my question:

Can i get rid of the QNAP software and use something more useful like UNRAID? Do i have to use it as a flash drive or can i install it on the DOM? if i can only run USB can i some how wipe the DOM so never to boot QNAP agian if i choose so down the road?

    Thanks everyone, i'm a newbuhere.
