  1. sorry this one was ran on the drive its self paxton-smart-20240120-2121.zip
  2. can i just upgrade my Parity drive from my current 4tb to my 8TB, then replace my drive 4 3tb with and 8tb or would i lose the data on Drive 4? or should i just order a 3TB and let it rebuild it then update parity and replace another drive with my other 8TB?

  5. its disabled and will not come back online. it does do a self check with no errors but i can not get it to come back online
  6. ok my parody is a 4TB drive. My dead drive is a 3TB drive. I have 2 8TB drives NEW how would i go about upgrading the Parody to a 8tb and still recoverying my 3TB on an 8 TB?

  8. I'm interested in the EXACT thing. If it can't be done then i'm forced to go with Centos to Cluster all my data center future add ons.
  9. here is what my Qnap has for specs: Qnap TVS-1271U-RP CPU i3-4150 3.5ghz dual core 4 threads 24 gigs of ram dual channel support 12 3tb drives -i'm not sure but i want to look into 4TB drives and get rid of the WD drives and go Seagate 2 samsung SSD 850 256Gig cache drives Sorry internal cache ports are two KINGSTON SMS200S3240G 608ABBF0 now here is my question: Can i get rid of the QNAP software and use something more useful like UNRAID? Do i have to use it as a flash drive or can i install it on the DOM? if i can only run USB can i some how wipe the DOM so never to boot QNAP agian if i choose so down the road?
