    I had the similar problem but not shut down, some time it go almost 24 hrs and stop, it's not consistent at any certain point. it turn out my seasonic power supply going bad.

    Thanks for all the help, I am getting 60MB/s in the beginning and 80MB/s closing in in the end (single Parity assigned). I will upgrade the CPUs from 1.8Ghz to 2.6Ghz next week to test again and post the result.

    I add parity drive(dual parity) and it currently doing Parity-sync/Data-rebuild, look like Average CPU load less than 15%, I will wait and see when it closing on to the end. Thanks

    Hello Experts, I having this weird problem and can't figure out why, I have several disk with difference size. my parity check speed is hovering around 50MB/s throughout the whole time. it should be faster in the end after it done with the reading of the smaller disk. I have 1 dell Perc h310 currently on IT P19 paring with intel expander RES2SV240, same thing happen when I use first dell perc h310 dual link to expander and second dell perc H310 8 port with both on P20.00.07.00.     Wow $739 from Amazon, I would go with PCIe 8x SAS controller pair with SAS Expander for a lot less.

    Can anyone please help? I did an initconfig and now my parity drive stuck at exactly same spot. here is my unmenu screen look like. STARTED; 16 disks in array.     Thanks for fast reply, this is my #13 of 3TB drive, and the controller for this particular drive is Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8. here his how my drive connection and controller. 6 3TB drive connected to Motherboard ASRock Motherboard 4 3TB drive connected to High Point-Tech controoler 4 3TB drive and 2 2TB drive connected to AOC-SASLP-MV8. So 3TB drive support is not a problem with my system, and I am running version 5B12 since last year without problem, until this upgrade. Thanks

    Hello, I am upgrade drive #13 from 2TB to 3TB drive, the web gui and unmenu hang during rebuild and can't access it, but I still can telnet in ok. Seem like it hang right it get to 2TB mark. Please help. Thanks syslog.txt

    1 cycle (because it take roughly 32hrs) and no error, I have 15 drives in my beta12 mix of WD,Hitachi,Samsung running for 6 month without problem and I only do 1 cycle of preclear on them.

    I had 15 drive running on this board with no problem, 5 drives on motherboard, 4 on highpoint tech 2300 the rest on Rosewill port multiplier.

    Madsailor, do you have your problem resolve? I too have the same problem running beta 5.12, can't telnet, ssh, unmenu, but still be to ping. I don't know how to get the syslog using the console or clean power down. it happen twice in the past 2 weeks. The only hint I can't get out is it starting to hung since I add 1 new hard drive (SAMSUNG_HD154UI 1.5 terabytes) any help really appreciate. Thanks
