    Set your image to

    lscr.io/linuxserver/nextcloud:version-26.0.2

run in the unraid terminal (not the container terminal)

docker exec -it nextcloud updater.phar # if successful, run it again until it says there are no more updates

    let us know the results

Thanks for the reply, no that didn't work...

    //  EDIT  //

Following the guide posted by alturismo

    Will post results.

    Tried that but:

root@UNRAID:~# docker  exec -it nextcloud occ maintenance:mode --on
Composer autoloader not found, unable to continue. Check the folder "3rdparty". Running "git submodule update --init" will initialize the git submodule that handles the subfolder "3rdparty".root@UNRAID:~#

Open a console window for Nextcloud, and cd to that dir. type: "cd config/www/nextcloud/config"

Use nano to open the file "nano config.php" and look for the version

    image.thumb.png.92757d6b848f83949bc592cfa829571f.png

Then edit the container and change the repository to the version you need. image.thumb.png.9c4f93bd27eb23306a61165b349414bf.png

Use the linuxserver docker page  to fine the appropriate tag. For example, if you need version 26.0.2, change the repository to: "linuxserver/nextcloud:26.0.2"

Thanks for the explanation but after I do all that my Nextcloud was @ version 25.0.4.1 and I followed your steps to 26.0.2, when I open the console and Run docker exec -it nextcloud updater.phar I get file not found

So what do I do to resolve this?

Again thanks for all the help!

  4. Trying to solve my problem but can anyone explain how to do the following:

Check your /config/www/nextcloud/config/config.php file or /config/www/nextcloud/version.php file to determine the version you have installed

Switch your image to the corresponding major version from the table above (ex: your files indicate 24.x.x, use lscr.io/linuxserver/nextcloud:version-24.0.12) and start the container

    the rest I can manage!

    Thanks!

  5. Hi guys,

Sorry for my noobness but can some1 explain the how and not the what about manually updating? Used to just update de docker container in Unraid but that doesn't work anymore and tried following :

https://info.linuxserver.io/issues/2023-06-25-nextcloud/ but it explains what to do not the how.

I'm trying to solve this error :

Can't start Nextcloud because the version of the data (25.0.4.1) is more than one major version behind the docker image version (27.0.1.2) and upgrading more than one major version is not supported. Please run an image tagged for the major version 26 first.

    Can some1 plzzz help?

    Thanks!

    Hi guys,

I hope some1 will finally be able to help me. I installed Nextcloud last week using MariaDB and Nextcloud. I'm using a simple setup as I only need to use Nextcloud @ home, so I don't need to be able to access it from outside. I use it as backup for eveyone's cellphone in the household. The point is I would like to but I cannot change the amount of available space to store my pictures. I currently have 1 user (me) but the usable space is less than 8GB whille there is plenty of space on the server.

How and where do I change this amount per user?

    Thanks...

So I found the solution. With the first setup you create an admin account and somehow with the first install your admin account is set to unlimited storage space. I found out that when you add a second user you can set the storage space to whatever you want. So I did the same with the admin account and suddenly the limited data space was solved.

So if any1 else has issues, this is the sollution.

  8. Hi guys and girls,

My server has been running for several years now , not 24/7 and I'm having issues booting as of late. The server starts but doesn't boot Unraid, it just sits there powered-on. I need to switch-off the power supply at the rear and boot it back up again for it to work but each time I have the same problem.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

You can type in the console:

    rm -r /path/to/folder

Everything inside that folder will be deleted.

I always use Midnight Commander (mc at command line) to manage files directly on the server

Isn't there like a windows way of deleting the folder, right-click shift delete?

  10. So I bought a Mellanox ConnectX3, placed it in the server and everything works fine. Bought a 10Gtek SFP+DAC and attached it to my new Netgear Switch. I get link up 10GBE on the switch but how do I switch in Unraid from etho 0-1 to etho 3 or 4?I want Unraid to use the new 10gbe instead of 2x 1gbit...

    Thanks!

x4 PCIe 2.0 slot is still good for 2000MB/s (around 1600MB/s usable), so yes, it's enough, though note that the bottom one is shared with the DMI and anything using it, like the onboard SATA ports, if they are being used.

Well I have 2 SSDs on them as cache
