  1. Hi All, I've heard reports of people getting fairly close to baremetal performance, and i'm only getting about 60-70%, so i'm hoping someone can help. I've read (I think) pretty much everything on here that I can, but I cant seem to fix my own issue. If theres a guide i'm missing, feel free to point me in the right direction. My Specs are: Asus Z10PE-D16 WS motherboard (Running bios 3903) 2x Xeon E5 2667 V3 (3.2ghz - 3.6hz) 64GB 2400mhz ECC Ram (It is currently down clocked due to the CPU only supporting 2133mhz, but its there in case I upgrade to V4 CPU's) 2x Asus Strix 1070 OC (One for each VM) Highpoint SSD7103 with: Samsung Evo Plus 500gb (part of a cache pool) Samsung Evo Plus 500gb (part of a cache pool) Samsung Evo Plus 500gb (Passed through to a VM) Samsung Evo Plus 1TB (Passed through to a VM) 4x 6tb Western Digital Reds Renesas 7port USB Pcie card (5 ext + 2int) (Passed through to a VM) This Mobo actually has an onboard GPU which unraid takes. Comes with a VGA port that shows the unraid GUI, so i've had no issues passing through GPU's to VMs at all. I've installed all of the performance plugins including Tips and Tweaks to set the CPU governor to high performance, etc. I've attached my diagnostics dump from unraid GUI. I've setup 2 Windows 10 VMs for gaming. Even before the second VM was even created, I've had performance issues on my VM, that is noticeable in gaming. I think the Issue is Latency related, but I havent been able to solve it. I also run Plex, Deluge and Owncloud, but they are pinned to seperate cores to the VMs. The VM cores are also isolated from the host (including the iothreadpin and emulatorpin in the VM xml). Each VM is given 4 hyperthreaded cores, and 16gb of ram. I have a whole bunch of Corsair LL120's that are controlled through a Commander Pro, and plugged into the internal port on the Usb pcie card. When the iCue service is running, that does result in some latency, but when i kill the service and close the app, DPC Latency Checker reports latency as still averaging about 500-600us, which it considers as green. Gaming performance is still sluggish while the services are stopped. I've run LatencyMon, which gives similar results to DPC. I've Run disk performance tests through Samsung Magician, which report about 3200MB/s, so i dont believe its the disk (especially given the NVMe Passthrough). The CPU and GPU performance tests via passmark report about 70% of typical results for those CPU's and GPU's. My VM XML is: <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm' id='8'> <name>Nath-WIN10</name> <uuid>e0af2c18-2998-14aa-5e8b-4fd0853646b6</uuid> <description>Nathan-WIN10</description>
