I have, and I made sure to follow Johnm's screenshots regarding the X9SCM's Bios settings. Time to do some more playing around with it to see if I can get up and going.

I've enabled hidden files and don't see the "ldlinux.sys" referenced below. Are there other ways to make a usb flash drive bootable?

I tried this PSU with another working computer and experienced the same issue. Just need to start the RMA process.

I'm having trouble making my Lexar FireFly USB flash drive bootable. On my Windows XP system, I am clicking of the"syslinux" file as directed in the Lime Technology wiki says. What happens is a command window promptly opens and then closes. Any advice as to what might be going on?

By inverted, do you mean to cable connections on the backside are on the top above the fan location?

I'll have to look into that. I'll try to use the PSU with a working computer first. Fingers crossed.

Did you have any issues placing the Norco SS-500 in the bottom three 5.25" drive bays? The screw holes on the Norco SS-500 don't line up with the drive cage cutouts on the Fractal XL. Not cool.

That's the exact one I have. I see that Johnm also used it in his Goliath build, which is were I got the idea to use this combo. Any Ideas on how to test the PSU? I'm assuming I have used the correct cables supplied with the PSU. It would be a shame to have to try and RMA it as it's been more than 30 days since I purchased it from Newegg (downside on waiting for sales to acquire everything).

I'll have to look into those threads. I was certain others have used the X9SCM with the Seasonic X750 with success, but perhaps I am mistaken.

I think I may have a bad psu I switched the Seasonic X750 (brand new) with a Corsair TX650 v2 (brand new) and the system booted up, allowing me to go into the BIOS. Before I RMA the Seasonic are there any other tests I can run? Thanks.

Hello all! I finally have all the parts I need (so I think) to build an unRaid server. I believe I have everything connected correctly. The first problem I have encountered is when I hit the power button, the fans come on for a split second and then turn off. From there, the fans turn on every ten seconds or so for a split second and this repeats itself in an infinite loop. Any and all advice appreciated. This is my first time building a computer. Thanks!
