I have a HUGE amount of DNS query done by the docker to hassio and  hassio.lan.

around two per second :

however I am not using the project for HA, I only use it using telegraf to log the data.
How do i remove this query ?

I am trying to setup UrBackup behind a letsencrypt reverse DNS, but when i set the Network type to proxynet all the mappings disapear and i cannot access the docker via the local IP neither public .

Did anyone tried to setup UrBackup via internet on unraid in the past ?

First off thank you for allthe work you made !

I have Installed the digikam app effortless and set EDGE to 1 but it look like the version of the software is 4.14.0 instead of the 6.4.0 displayed on the website.

 

Do you have any idea what did i forgot ?

I7 6800k small OC to 4GHz

See bellow the result of the nvme and cpu pinning

 

The nvme look a little bit throttled

Last version of the BIOS on the motherboard

you right for the GPU part

 

just a little bit more detail about the games

 

R6S no lag at all in ultra

BF3 some fps spike when looking around very fast

Minecraft(best test case) lag ONLY when looking around (its loading the map that is not displayed but which have been loaded before)

Rocket League : no lag

I have done research and Followed ALL the spaceinvader tutorial (this guy is a hero) and i don't fin a way, i feel like it' a ram access bottleneck since it's when I am looking around but i don't know how to fix it.

 

 

does anyone ever had this issue?

I got a 8 out of 16 core vm setup with GPU (980 ti )and nvme drive pass through

 

my issue is when i look around in any game it start to drop frame, once i stop to look around and go forward its perfect !

Any idea ?

 

I already assigned carrefuly the cpu for the vm and unraid

Hello, I am looking everywhere to run a startup script on unraid to run this :

 

echo 0 > /sys/class/vtconsole/vtcon0/bind

echo 0 > /sys/class/vtconsole/vtcon1/bind
echo efi-framebuffer.0 > /sys/bus/platform/drivers/efi-framebuffer/unbind

 

This need to be run so i can do a gpu pass through on a OVMF vm which got already a NVME pass through.

 

 

Any idea ?

Well Again find the solution but i like to keep record on the forum for anyone in the same situation

 

Once you started a vm some settings are locked (I am sure for good reasons)

When this happen the only solution is to recreate the vm and put the settings you want.

Everything is allright now on the nvme side of town i just needed spaces_win_clover. as the first vdisk

Really weird since spaceinvader said that is not required anymore on the forum,

 

The new issue now is the graphic card having error 43

 

I already followed the space invader tutorial about GPU pass through (rom dump and hex editor)

the graphic card display windows very well but only one screen and give the error 43

 

My vm got hyper v enabled and i know it can be a issue sometime but when i change the setting it always comeback !

Another issue,

 

Windows have been successfully installed but the vm does not boot on the pass through nvme, i didn't put anything in the Primary vDisk Location.

Fixed, 

NVME drive need to be installed using uefi so OVMF bios!

Hello Everyone

 

I'm strugling to install W10 on a pass through pcie nvme drive (samsung 960) once I am on the windows set up page and i click install i got this error :

"we couldn't create a partition or locate an existing one"

 

I tried to load the virtio driver but I am pretty sure it is useless.

 

Any idea how i could fix this issue ?
