@Waddoo further to the above reply, you need to stop the Docker service, not just running docker containers.

    To do this:

    • go to SETTINGS > DOCKER
    • with advanced view toggled (top right)
    • set Enable Docker: No,
    • then set Docker custom network type: ipvlan

I also began to receive Kernel panics after upgrading to 6.11.5.  Is making this change the only thing required for configuration?  When I made the change I found that containers no longer had access to the public network.  More specifically GITHUB and were not able to update.  I must be missing something?

  2. Hello... I was hoping someone had any ideas on why my GPU (RTX 4090) cannot be detected in IOMMU group under system devices when plugged into the PCIe 3.0 x16 Slot 6. The same GPU is detected just fine when in x8 Slot 4. Has anyone experienced the same? Board is Supermicro X11SCA-F.  I've had the MOBO for quite awile and have never tried to plug anything into the x16 slot until now.  I had an RTX 3090 in Slot 4 for about 2 years.

    Thanks for any ideas.

I purchased it from Newegg in the past month and it came with 2.0 installed. I didn’t install a 13th gen CPU, but assume it would have worked.

also, supermicro has some compatible ecc memory on their US online store. 32gb sticks were in store for about $160 last I checked.

Thanks for the response but I checked the SM eStore already and they are out of stock.  Only RDIMM available and not validated with this board.  Was hoping for other options.  I purchased non-ECC for now until available.

Couple quick comments based on my current use of the Supermicro X13sae-f.

    • I purchased on the last week of December and it shipped with the 2.0 bios.
    • I am able to use the Intel i9 13900K without issues.  This was a nice surprise to include the 2.0 BIOS I noted above

So on one had it shipped with the required BIOS to support the 13900k CPU.

Thanks for this information about the BIOS 2.0 requirement for the 13900k CPU.  I'm curious if anyone has purchased this board more recently and if they had the same luck with the board being shipped with v2.0 BIOS?  If so, which vendor did you purchase from?  I purchased from NewEgg today so I hope I'm just as lucky.  SM want's $27 for Out of Band (OOB) license update even though as of today the board web page shows 12th/13th Generation Intel support as a Key Feature.

Also, is there a recommendation for known working ECC RAM for this board?

    Thanks

Sorry, I don't use SWAG so yeah I would ask it there.

NP.....  thank for all the assistance.  Once I add sonarr config I should be GTG.  I use the autoproxy docker-mod and dockersocket container to create custom nginx configurations for each application.  Hence the reason I wish I could use the same docker network across both server A and B.

  7. Hello forum.  I want to add the preconfigured proxyconf file 'sonarr.subdomain' to my SWAG manager.  However, when I rename to sonarr.subdomain.conf and reboot, SWAG does not see the conf file in logs..  Am I missing a step??

**Forgot to mention that I have SWAG configured using the 'linuxserver/mods:swag-auto-proxy' docker mod.  Can the preconfigured Nginx templates be used while using auto-proxy?

    Thanks

Your server B is on the same internal network as server A right? Then you don't need to forward any ports.

In your example just add a host in NPM for sonarr.domain -> ip.of.server.B:8989

Thank you sir.  So I beleieve the equivelant in SWAG would be to add/ rename this conf file here and restart SWAG.  Problem now is...  when I do this, SWAG does not see the new .conf file after rename.  It olnly sees my custom .conf files created automatically with Dockersocket.  If I need to switch this conversation to the SWAG post please let me know.

I don't really see why you want them to be in the same docker network/interface. If you just want to be able to reverse proxy them then just expose the ports. For example

Server A with NPM IP 1.1.1.1

Sonarrr is on server B with IP 2.2.2.2 (map sonar port to host port 12345)

    Then just add a host sonarr.domain -> 2.2.2.2:12345

Yes.  All i want to do is reverseproxy containers on server 'B'.  However, I'm understanding you saying map Sonarr to host port like in screenshot below.  I am not following what you are saying here:  "Then just add a host sonarr.domain -> 2.2.2.2:12345".  I'm assuming add to my router and expose '12345'.  Or in my case below, the defaulr Sonarr port 8989??

    What exactly do you want?

containers on B to be able to access containers on A (behind the proxy)

-> then why not access them through the proxy?

NPM on A to be able to forward traffic to containers on B

-> then why not expose a port (and/or IP) on B?

But with some iptables magic you should be able to "bridge" networks I think but I can't really help you with that config.

Hello guys.  Thanks for the responses.    So this is server 'A' (ports 443/80 redirected/forwarded to 192.168.1.25) my main server.  These containers in the screenshot here have all been configure for reverseproxy and communicate on the custom network interface I created called 'reverseproxy' (172.19.0.0/16).

    image.png.206702fda9f7da1f90ca5509ab5e9f73.png

These here containers below are on server 'B' (192.168.1.11) and I would like to reversproxy these also using the SWAG proxy manager from server 'A' and possibly the same custom docker interface from server 'A'.  Is this possible?

    image.png.a0117b8608b84a41abe3c8e9ed18fcfa.png

Again...  thanks for the help and hope I'm making sense to you all :) considering I'm a basic user.  FYI...  I tried to create a seperate SWAG proxy manager on server 'B' until I realized I cannot redirect/ forward ports 443/80 to server 'B' as I only have one public address to work with.

  11. Guys is the @hot22shot fix the only answer to get Guac SSH to unRAID when configured on Bridge or Custom docker network??

    _______________________________________________________________________________________

So the SSH connection fails because guacd and sshd couldn't find a common ground.

The only way I could make it worked is allowing ssh-rsa again in unraid :

***To permit using old RSA keys for OpenSSH 8.8+, add the following lines to your sshd_config: HostKeyAlgorithms=ssh-rsa,[email protected] PubkeyAcceptedAlgorithms=+ssh-rsa,[email protected]***

You can still have multiple servers, however as you just have 1 port 80 available (externally) you can only have 1 NPM running (on that port).

Hello Forum.  I have two unRAID servers running docker containers.  I have a custom docker network interface created called 'reverseproxy' on my main unRAID server.  Containers that I have reverseproxied are communicating on this interface and working well.  My question is there a way to configure the containers on my second server(on same LAN) to comminicate on the custom docker network located on my main server?

    Thanks

i would suspect if you rebooted the sabnzbdvpn container it would be in the same state - i.e. unable to resolve, try changing NAME_SERVERS value to the defaults:-

    209.222.18.222,84.200.69.80,37.235.1.174,1.1.1.1,209.222.18.218,37.235.1.177,84.200.70.40,1.0.0.1

Thanks... :)  you are correct.  I actually just did what you suggested on my own after looking at my SAB settings again.  Looking at logs, Deluge skipped over a few name server before it chose Default route for container is 172.17.0.1.  I did not have backup name servers with my previous Deluge setup.

  14. Hello..  Started to receive a network error this morning and wanted to see if I was the only one.  GUI no longer connects after working nonstop for a few years.  Has anything changed?  I tried a few different PIA DNS servers but no success.

    Thanks for any help

Sorry if I wasn't clear.  The issue I'm having with the plugin is that the sensors tab is supposed to be showing a blue dot for those readings that are not present.  It's showing a broken icon symbol in the status column.  If you look at the page source it's referencing blue-on.png for any N/A reading.  The file blue-on.png is not in the /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/images/ directory.

FYI I'm using 2 sticks of 32GB ram from NEMIX and their temperature is being read correctly in the picture I uploaded.

Ahhhh  Got it!  I have the same broken icons as well for N/A sensors that are not active.  Never really paid attention until you pointed it out.  Thanks!
