  1. Seanant. It was great doing business with you. This is an awesome deal. Only one tiny problem...no brackets. Any chance you can ship two full height brackets to me in an envelope? I can e-mail you my address again, I'm sure you've lost it in the mess of orders you've had.
  2. It would probably be $40 shipped. I measured the box and it should fit in a large flat rate USPS box which is around $15 to ship. The same size box costs $16 to ship via UPS to Washington state (farthest from me in Florida). So, I might be able to go lower if UPS can get it there cheaper. Basically looking at $25 + shipping.
  3. I'm looking into upgraded a computer in the house and will be getting rid of the following: ECS A885GM-A2 (V1.1) AM3 AMD 880G SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135272&Tpk=ECS%20A885GM-A2 I've been running this board for a while with no issues at all. Works great! I'll include the box, quick start guide, CD, and 5 SATA cords. The cords are not the one's that originally came with the board but I have extras so what the heck. AMD Sempron 145 Sargas 2.8GHz Socket AM3 45W Single-Core Desktop Processor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103888 I've successfully unlocked the second core on this processor and it's been stable for a couple of months now. It is running my HTPC right now. I bought it as an OEM because I had an extra stock AMD HSF. So you'll get the processor and a stock HSF but none of the goodies that normally accompany them. I might keep the Sempron and get rid of this instead: AMD Athlon II X3 445 Rana 3.1GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103872 Is there any interest is the Sempron bundle at $65 including shipping? What about the Athlon bundle at $95 including shipping? Please feel free to share your thoughts. I'm not real sure about pricing for these. Just trying to get an idea.
  4. The youtube video and the amazon product are different... You linked to the Seagate Expansion in your Amazon link and the Seagate GoFlex Desk in your youtube video. I'm assuming that the process works on either one. I was using a credit card on the Seagate Expansion 3TB and it did not work well. I'll give a Starbucks stopper a try next time.
  5. I bought one of these and for life of me could not get it open without breaking any tabs. I went at it for hours being nice to it and still broke them.
  6. I just wanted to say that when I bought one of these last month, it successfully unlocked to an Athlon II X2 and it's now residing in my HTPC. It replaced an Athlon II X3 to lower the heat but still give some computing power. The X3 was moved to a new desktop that will eventually become my unRaid server.
  7. Yea, I didn't realize they were bare CPUs when I ordered one... Any recommendations for a cooler?
  8. Ah, yes...I didn't notice the 12 drive limit. Probably not an issue right now, but one that I would like to avoid if possible. Are there any other recommended MBs with a higher drive limit?
  9. Not sure how many drives. It will be some time before I max out the PSU though...by that time it wouldn't be an issue to change the PSU.
  10. I thought I remembered reading that all B stock items included shipping in the price. Maybe I read that wrong. If so, I apologize. No need for apologies...I thought I was missing something. It's still not a bad deal!
  11. How do you get it shipped for that price? When I attempted to order, they wanted to charge $28 for shipping.
  12. Hey all, Just starting to put together a build list. It's pretty much right out of Raj's Prototype builds. I currently have a HTPC and I'm running out of HDD space. I will basically just be serving up Blu-ray rips with this server. I can't think of anything else I'll need it to do at the moment. Right now I'm getting close to 3TB of Blu-rays and I'll be adding two more 2TB drives when I move to the server, one of these will serve as a parity drive. Now, for the server specs: Case: Antec 900 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021 - nice sale on newegg right now. MOBO: BIOSTAR A880G+ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138283 - on sale right now and seems to come recommended. I have no issues switching this up at all. Please give recommendations if there are better boards. PSU: Corsair CX500 V2 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027 - also on sale on newegg. CPU: AMD Sempron 145 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103888 RAM: G.SKILL Value 4GB DDR3-1333 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231423 - just a cheap 4GB stick. HDD: HITACHI Deskstar 5K3000 2TB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145475 - another newegg sale item. Please let me know what you think of this build. Thanks!
