  1. Hi all, It appeared that the windows vm got stuck on an update. After booting windows outside unraid and running the updates everything worked again. Regards, Joris
  2. Hi All, I've a windows 10 vm running in unraid with a clover.img, worked all fine till today. Now when I try to boot the VM I get a Clover Boot Manager screen with the message 3974. There is only a simple menu from which there are not to much options and I can't find the log location. Any one any ideas of how to solve the issue?   4. Hi all, I'm hoping to get some support on the issue I have. I have a Windows VM and I added an additional graphics card and created a new Ubuntu VM. The windows VM boots just fine, however it now uses the wrong graphics card. When I try to update the windows VM in any way or without edits just pressing update I get the message: VM creation error, XML error: Invalid CPU feature name.   5. Hi all, I have a windows 10 VM (Dual boot) running on which I accidentally installed a docker that broke my VM. Now I don’t know how to fix it and feel very stupid. So I hoped someone could help me out. Steps I did: Used Powershell to install Chocolatey Ran this command: cinst AWSTools.Powershell docker-compose docker-for-windows docker-desktop docker git Rebooted my vm and Broke it. After the Tianocore screen, I get a Blue screen immediately, saying it ran into a Hypervisor_error. When I boot the windows 10 directly from the nvme drive, it starts fine. So I removed all the above components through powershell. Unfortunately, this did not fix the VM. </domain> On the windows event viewer the only error it gave was this, I'm not completely sure if this is related.   6. I wanted to use it for Nvidia game stream, although it might work fine without it. But still I would like to have the option to pass a device through because I've a sound processor card as well which is also in a shared IOMMU group.. But now I've introduced a new issue, turning off ASC override still shows me code 43 now. So I'm back 2 steps..
  7. You make it sound easy, but I've tried a lot of things also this: and space invader one's passthrough GPU's and followed hi's VM setup/AMD ryzen setups. But still code 43...
  8. Hi, When PCIe ASC override is disabled my graphic card (Geforce GTX 1060) is in it's own IOMMU group together with the digital sound of the Card. Now to expand my PC I wanted to add a NIC so I can give my VM a dedicated network interface, however no matter in what free slot I place the card it's not going in it's own IOMMU group. To put it in it's own group I need to use PCIe ASC override and set it to multifunction or both. Now I can pass through the NIC and it works however the graphic card stops working at all.. and shows me Code 43 in the windows VM. Is there a way to make a custom IOMMU structure so I can rebuild as it was only with te NIC separated instead of everything separated?
  9. Hi, I've just started using Unraid and I'm still kind of new to this. Took me quiet a while to get everything working actually, but when I thought I was finally there I wanted to play one of my favourite games Assassin's Creed and they crash at start up. (I tried 2 so far Unity/Origins) both similar behaviour. I'm not sure if this is related to Unraid but I don't know where to ask this elsewhere. Only things I could find online is re-install your drivers, delete certain types of software or choose different window modes to start the game which all did not work for me. So my best guess is that it recognises that it's a VM and either has some protection or can't deal with that. I've also tried moving it to my C drive, still the same issue. Hardware: Asus x370 Pro with AMD Ryzen x1700 chip, G-Skill Sniper Ram and Geforce GTX 1060 for the graphics. So currently running Unraid 6.6.5 and in the VM settings I've set PCIe ACS Override on disabled and I've my VM setup with win 10 x64 followed space invader One's tutorials to set things up and have assigned 100 Gb to my VM and told Uplay to store my games on my Share. This all works, I've also installed Dragon Age Inquisition which starts just fine.
