Since this was a correcting check, you should run a non-correcting check to confirm there a no parity errors.

Is this how to run a "non-correcting check"  ... I unchecked this box and then do I run check to see if any error appears...right?

  2. Hey Guys,

I woke up to an email that said I have two errors during the parity check but I cant figure or see those error.    Can someone take a glance and see if they see any concerning issues on my server?    I would rather ask now versus wait when something breaks.

    Help

This is the email I got:

    Event: Unraid Parity check
Subject: Notice [TOWER] - Parity check finished (2 errors)
    Description: Duration: 21 hours, 29 minutes, 19 seconds. Average speed: 103.4 MB/s
    Importance: warning

  3. No dice when I try to add the faulty ssd to the server. I get a warning that if I turn on the array the data on the ssd will be wiped out. So I didnt not turn on the array and put the good 500gb back in.

Can I load the faulty ssd as a seperate disk drive somehow in unraid to be able to extract the data manually?

  4. Soooooooo I dont think I have a good backup either :(

I just tried the backup and there is nothing on the backup

Can I throw that faulty ssd back into the sever? If so what steps do I need to take

Sidenote: my array is fully synced up with the new 8tb drive and server is back to normal (other then not having my appdata or dockers)

    Newest diagnostic added

    Help

Hope you all can help. Over the weekend I started the process of swapping out two drives that were throwing errors (3tb hd and 500gd ssd).  I swap out the ssd without moving the data to my array and i've also stated syncing my new 8tb drive hd which its almost done.  Once my array is fully sync can I run ca app backup/restore to get my dockers and container and appdata to get my server back up and running with minimally hassle? Or can I just reinstall the faulty ssd (which still works) and then properly move the data to the array?

Sidenote: I have a cache pool (500gb and 250gb ssd).  Not sure of that changes things

I do have a ca app backup from 4/2/2021.

Help please because I would hate to rebuild the sever settings

Note sure if anyone replied on this, but files can't be added to Nextcloud by copying them directly into the user profile in the file folder.  You must leverage webdav, web interface etc.  Alternatively, iI you do choose to add them in this manner, you would need to invoke the occ tool from the command line, there is a parameter to add them to the database with files:scan.  Not sure if this would make sense or not.

    Hope this helps.

I was able to find a workaround and use the "external storage" app and also creating another path in nextcloud docker to point to the folder.  So I don't create the folder in nextcloud but the "external storage" app created the folder for me and point it to my folder on the shared.  This been working for me so far.

  7. I use Fix Common Problems and it found "Machine Check Events detected on your server". The suggested fix is "Your server has detected hardware errors. You should install mcelog via the NerdPack plugin, post your diagnostics and ask for assistance on the unRaid forums. The output of mcelog (if installed) has been logged"

I have installed mcelog and attached the diagnostic file.

I am unsure of how long this error has existed but my server seems fine.

    Thanks in advance!

  8. Nextcloud and SABNZBD issue:  Nextcloud missing files after SABNZBD download

    Hey Guys,

In Nextcloud I created a folder called "Howard Stern" and in SABNZBD I created a path to that folder.   I also added a category in SABNZBD to have those downloads moved to that folder.  SABnazbd is moving the file correctly and I can see it the files in that path but NEXTCLOUD is not showing those files in the WEBUI.

Can any advise on the fix?   (I tried to show hidden files option and that didnt work)
