ill try this next weekend thanks. No the server is on top of my rack so it have not been moved or kicked... Yes the powersupply is working just fine, have tryed with only one powersupply and with 2 brand new power supplys

i have tryed with a new usb stick to boot from without any luck, the power supplys works just fine. i can boot from the usb stick into unraid from my laptop i have tryed to reset all bios settings tryed to make a new boot able usb stick with the software and the manual way (and yes im sure that i did it right) changed the battery on the mainboard all witout any luck, still stuck the same place.

Hi, my unraid server have been running for a long time now, then one of the disks from the arry failed and i turned off the server to take out the disk, the server was turned off untill i got the new disk so it have been turned off for 2 or 3 weeks, pluged in the new disk, turned on the server and now it fails to boot, i have tryed to remove the new disk, make a new usb boot, buy a new usb stick to boot from, checked the bios if some settings should have changed, boot up without the raid controller. I have taken a photo of the screen when it fails to boot, it newer goes on with the boot, it just keep on hanging at this point thanks

1-- check, did buy a scandisk ultra 16 gb, but wont work, the unraid usb tool wont even see the stick, but can see its a usb 3.0, so ill try another stick. 2-- yes know the maximum of 32 gb 3-- check ill remember that, my usb stick is located direct on the mainboard so size doesent matter here 4-- will do i have read trurls advice, did format the usb sticks the quick way, ill try a complete format

yes im sure, yup tried the manual method but still getting the error.

i tried to boot up on the flash drive on 3 laptops witout any luck, the laptops dont show any error but wont boot on the usb stick, tried to swap the usb stick with another usb harddrive with a windows install and all the laptop boots into windows install just perfect, so it must be the usb stick thats dead. do you know what usb stick is prefered to run unraid from ? can see the list on unraids website is outdated

why havent i checked that yet, ill try that out in a sec. yes all power cabels was pluged out of the pc but the flash drive were in the machine all time. could be the battery, havent checked that. Thanks, will try to check this out first, its just strange that i can boot windows 10 install from a usb if unraid cant boot.

i have used unraid on that server for more than a year now and its the same usb port as i have used for that year, but ill try the other ports... the server was taken down for about a month and when i put it up again it wouldn boot up

my server (HP Proliant) boots up fine until it should boot from the usb, then this error come, i tryed to make a bootable usb for freenas, windows and some backup software i use for my laptops, and the servere boots up fine on that
