  1. What fan did you use for the power supplies?
  2. dgaschk, Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I am lucky since sda is the parity drive and sdi is an empty drive. Knowing that, what will be the best way to get them fixed? just replace one drive at a time and rebuild the array? Tal.
  3. Hello all, My issue started after a power failure in my house. When I restarted the server the array have failed to start. Every time I tried to start the array, it did not start and the status was initial configuration with a red circle next to the array. I have then tried to restore function (I have read the what exactly it does) and after a few tries, the array started rebuilding the parity from my drives. When the rebuild finished, the array was started and working fine. I am attaching my syslog and my smart report for my 8 drives. I need to shut down the server again this weekend and I hoping that I can fix this issue before hand so I will not lose any of my data. Tal. syslog.zip smart.zip
  4. erikatcuse, Thanks for the great reply. I guess I will have to see if I can find one SATA drive laying around and test it on my unRaid server. When I get the time, I will post my results back here. Thanks again, Tal
  5. I have an HP SMART ARRAY E200/128 8 Port SAS controller and I wonder if it will work with unRaid. At the moment I have unRAID Server Pro running with 2 x Adaptec 1430SA PCI-E 4-lane SATA controller cards and I would like to replace one of the adaptec cards with the HP one. Here is a link to the card. I have the one with the 128MB and the BBWC. http://h71028.www7.hp.com/ERC/downloads/4AA0-6220ENW.pdf Thanks. Tal
