  1. I recently added a new JBOD to my server as well as some new 1TB cache drives (configured BTRFS Raid 10). I have been writing parity to a second parity drive when my cache failed rendering my dockers all dead. The drive on drive details tab shows "Unavailable - disk must be spun up", if you spin it up on the main page looks normal, but then go back to details and it has the same must be spun up message. I have had this problem a few times recently, which is how I ended up with only 7 drives in a raid 10 configuration for cache. I am currently trying to get mover to move all my files back the array so I can rebuild cache drives (and also manually moving them over to another unraid box). I have attached diagnostics. Oh yeah, I pulled the hot swap drive to see if it would come back and it did show back up in unassigned devices as drive "sdal", it was originally "sdj". Unassigned devices will not let me re assign the UUID to get the drive back in cache array while array is online. In the process I inadvertently pulled cache drive "sdp" which is now also in unassigned devices as "sdai", again will not allow to reassign UUID. With the normal array if a drive is pulled and then reinserted the array seems to bring it back but cache does not, is that due to raid 10/ unraid xfs parity differences? On another note, since the data should still be on those two cache drives, is there a way to add them back to cache without losing the data, everytime you adjust cache it just re-formats the drive has been my experience. tower-diagnostics-20200713-1414.zip
  2. I have been running HASSIO on a VM for over a year. I built a seperate machine for some seperation from my primary NAS (so CPU wouldnt impact performance of HASSIO). Hardware is a dell R820. I moved my .qcow2 over and had everything working great. Then I needed to shuffle drives, so I replaced parity drives did a parity rebuild and removed some data drives (replaced SSDs with spindles, to utilize the SSDs in a cache arrangement). Following that move my VMs will not function. I tried building a new libvirt.iso file and even made a new share for the libvirt.iso, thinking maybe i messed up that share when I moved files. I now am getting evidence of booting in VNC but I keep getting these ballooning errors, and I havent found anywhere on here how to address it. I attached a photo and my diagnostics. Thanks! tower2-diagnostics-20200707-0935.zip
  3. So, what got me started down this path was plex wouldnt connect to the outside world through unraid (it was doing it the other day). So now my other plex server (old windows machine) started doing the same thing. So I reset my modem, router, and ever switch on my network. After that reset everything seems to be working fine now. If anyone looks in that config file and finds any problem that caused all this to start I appreciate it. Thanks!
  4. I tried creating a new app directory /share, that did not fix the problem
  5. rebooted the machine, the broken pipe didn't show up this time (not that I think it was the problem to begin with). I tried to install Krusader and Sonarr still getting the same error. Pulled tower-diagnostics-20190216-1017 (1).zip
  6. tower-diagnostics-20190216-0957.zip Alright, so I stopped docker, deleted the image, re-enabled went to reinstall, seem to be getting the same problem. I attached an updated diagnostics.
  7. tower-diagnostics-20190216-0919 (1).zip Do I need to unzip it?
  8. So I have had unraid for about 3 weeks now. I have several dockers: plex, sabnzb, sonarr, radarr, lidarr, krusader, and unifi. My dockers seem to be working fine. The other day when I rebooted the machine i got a "cat: write error: Broken pipe" during booting which slowly tried to download something then went away and booted on normally. After that happened I noticed all of my dockers are showing "update ready" all the time; if I try to updat them they go to the pulling image page and just continually say please wait. I have been having trouble with plex so I decided to delete my plex docker and reinstall it and start from scratch, now that it is deleted I cannot reinstall it gets to the same screen and says pulling image: whichever plex docker I tried and says please wait , and never moves on. I tried the linux server docker and the plexinc docker to no avail. Any idea what is going on? All of my other dockers appear to be working fine. Thanks for all the help!
  9. Good thought, yes I did fix the docker as well. Thanks!
  10. So after I put the post up I mustered up the courage and tried Krusader, it was successful. Thanks!
  11. I am new to unraid, and I recognize Linux OS is case sensitive. At some point I must have typed my user share in a docker app that is "UNRAID" as "unraid", I now notice i have a unraid and UNRAID and a subdirectory within them "MOVIES" and "movies". How do i get rid of one of them (preferably the one that doesnt have terabytes of data in it)? If I go in with Krusader and delete the contents of one of them will it delete the contents of both?. The one that is the error only has one subdirectory "movies" where the correct one has mutiple subdirectories for various media types. Thanks
