  1. Oh that makes sense, and because the drives did come back online shortly after that's likely why I didn't notice an issue till a few hours after and everything was still running. Awesome, thank you so much for your help and explaining that.
  2. So I'm up and running and I did have some data loss of the data drive that was disabled it seems, and that might have been my fault as it said it was the wrong format and needed to be formated so I did that likely causing the data loss. And thanks again for your knowledge but I guess I don't quite understand why when it lost four drives, it was able to disable two of them but keep running normal with the other two enabled even though it "lost connection to the drives" How come when unraid lost the 4 data drives which I would think would be a concern for data loss, it doesn't just stop the whole array till user inspection? Is there something I can set so it does?
  3. I have a "Dell H310 6Gbps SAS HBA w/ LSI 9211-8i P20 IT Mode" with I believe 4 drives hooked up to it. I wonder if booting the VM tried to take the pcie slot or something throwing it off momentarily. But I'm confused why it didn't error and disable the other drives on the same card then, but that does make the most sense otherwise.
  4. Hello, looking for some advise, I just noticed that a few hours ago, at the exact same time unraid gave a notice 2 of the 18 drives in my array when in error state and are disabled. (Drive Parity and Disk 15). Tho they show healthy, and I'm unable to run a smart test on them, guessing because they are disabled. I don't see a reason this happened. Nothing physically has changed with it, the only thing that might have possibly happened around that time was a VM I haven't used in a very long time I expanded it's virtual drive and booted it up, not sure how that could be related as the virtual drive is on the cache. I've attached my Diagnostics Thanks so much for anyone's time and advise in advance.
  5. Thank you Jorge, that does indeed look to be what the problem is.
  6. Hi, this is my first time posting so hopefully I'm doing it right lol. I've had errors keep showing up on my Disk 10 and 11 the past week and I'm not sure why or how to fix it. Both those drives along with I believe 5 other drives are connected via "Dell H310 6Gbps SAS HBA w/ LSI 9211-8i P20 IT Mode." I've used this card with drives for awhile now in this system without issue. I've tried changing the sata cables, the ports they go into, and unplugging and replugging in all the cables (both ends) Parity always checks out without issue, and the smart tests also appear to be good. Any ideas what my issue might be?? Currently only disk 10 is showing the errors but usually disk 11 shows them as well. I've attached the diagnostics. unraid-diagnostics-20220222-1015.zip
