  1. Hello, Recently my Unraid Nvidia section looks like the below. Apart from the above I have no problems and the GPU works. I'm on Unraid Version 6.8.3 2020-03-05 Anyone can help?
  2. Hello, I logged in today just to see these two messages: Unraid Cache disk SMART health [197]: 11-09-2019 11:47 Warning [TOWER] - current pending sector is 1 CT1000MX500SSD1_1922E2086346 (sdb) Unraid Cache disk SMART message [197]: 11-09-2019 12:17 Notice [TOWER] - current pending sector returned to normal value CT1000MX500SSD1_1922E2086346 (sdb) I ran the SMART check but it came back normal. How worried should I be? Many thanks
  3. In the end I settled for Ryzen 5 2600, Asrock B450m Pro4, 2x 8GB DDR4 3200MHz. Runs like a dream but I have to run the memory at 2400MHz as the server is unstable at 3200.
  4. Hello, Is there a way to get a list of WebUIs for all running containers? I know I can get ips and ports from docker inspect but that is not enough. Many thanks
  5. All ok now. Run memtest on 2400MHz with no issues. Server now running like a dream. Might retest with 2667MHz in the future but happy with what I got now. I put this system together recently as a major upgrade to my ageing server. In the beginning all was well but it was running in an open case. Once I closed the case and put it in the corner things started happening. Thanks again
  6. Thanks for the tip. Memtest is already showing errors at 5% pass. Should I continue for a full pass? Should I stop, remove xmp profile and start again? Should I replace the ram? Opted for reducing frequency to 2400, so far no errors at 25%. Will carry on for the next couple of days looking for the optimum ram speed. I'll add this to my list of things I wish I knew before.
  7. Hello, My server is in all sorts of trouble: it freezes, wont shutdown clean, docker containers don't work properly, vms wont install, community applications freeze. When I want to power down or reboot the web gui is still working. Docker containers start but don't function properly e.g. Plex doesn't show on the network, won't update metadata, crashes later. Pulling some containers fails as unable to register layers. Despite disabling docker it is still running (can see running containers in terminal), container icons still show on dashboard. Ubuntu server vm wouldn't install - installer crashes at step 12 Community applications 2019.09.01e the floating unraid loading logo stays on, I cans scroll the page but none of the buttons work. I have to manually type in servers IP address to get out. I had uncorrectable errors on BTRFS cache so changed to XFS. I have disabled docker and vms, removed docker image, libvirt.img, vm disk images, removed community applications. Run parity check, smart tests, file system tests, docker image scrubs - no errors reported. As soon as I enable or reinstall those features all problems come back. Shares are accessible until the thing crashes. Unraid 6.7.2 (tried nvidia unraid and standard) Ryzen 5 2600 2x corsair 8gb DDR4 3200 Asrock B450m Pro4 2x Seagate 4TB 1x Crucial MX500 1TB GTX 750Ti Attached are log files. I would be grateful if anyone had a look. tower-diagnostics-20190902-0736.zip tower-syslog-20190902-0736.zip
  8. Can you also explain why setting share to use cache only does not move data?
  9. Hello, I just upgraded my server so would anyone be interested in the old stuff? 1x Intel i5-2500 with stock cooler 2x 8GB DDR3 RAM 1x Cooler Master Hyper tx3i cpu cooler 1x Intel DH61DL mini ITX motherboard with i/o shield 3x WD Green 500GB HDD 1x Seagate 500GB HDD 1x WD Green 120GD SSD Not the most powerful equipment but will run Plex, docker, etc... Very stable. I would like to sell the lot for £60 including postage. Will set up an ebay auction with pay now option if there is any interest. Note: the motherboard has only 3x sata ports so will need a PCIe 2.0 x1 sata controller if you want to connect more drives. Please read MB specs https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/51855/intel-desktop-board-dh61dl.html All you need is a case with a power supply, some sata cables, and a USB stick with unraid on it to make your own server. Interested? Let me know. Otherwise all goes to scrap.
  10. Unraid is generally easy to use but there are plenty of caveats general PC users are not aware of. So RTFM and watch all Spaceinvader tutorials
  11. Yes, that is how I noticed it. It is not very intuitive. I expected 'No' to mean that all content will be moved to the array. Why is it not like that?
  12. Well, I finally got it working by setting use cache to Yes and invoking mover. ---- I've been through a lot of posts but still can't get files moved off the cache. I disabled both docker and VMs. I even deleted libvirt.img and docker.img I set all shares to not use cache. I click on mover and nothing happens. Even empty shares stay on cache. I want to clear the cache drive so that I can swap it for a bigger one. 13. Thanks, I was literally looking at this motherboard when I saw your message. 6x SATA is a bonus but it is about £90 here in the UK.
  14. Hello, I am planning to rebuild my server with AMD parts. So far I have decided on Ryzen 5 1600X but need a solid motherboard. I read a lot of reviews of B350 and B450 motherboards freezing for no reason and needing resets. Please could you let me know the motherboards you are using with Ryzen CPUs Ideally I am after a micro-ATX with 4 dimm slots. Many thanks
