  1. I expanded my storage and am moving files from my google drive back to physical storage.

    Now i'm getting a permissions issue from radarr when importing a movie to physical storage.

    i deleted the perms.txt file to reset permisions in the appdata config folder

    my folders are all set to nobody:user 764
    PUID defined as '99'
    PGID defined as '100'
    UMASK defined as '002'

    it appears radarr us using root:root, is that correct even though user 99 is nobody?

    do i need to reset folder permissions to match the root:root?

    unraid: 6.11.5
    radarr: 4.6.4.7568

    error:

    Quote

    Couldn't import movie /data/complete/Extraction.2.2023.2160p.NF.WEB-DL.DDP5.1.Atmos.H.265-FLUX/135f59ddfc694b69ba3f54958e7a8a6a.mkv: Access to the path '/media/Movies/Extraction 2 (2023)/Extraction 2 2023.mkv' is denied.

    using the docker console i am able to read, write and delete to that location. so i am a bit confused.

  2. Update:
    in the Poste docker configuration i enabled advanced view and added -e "HTTPS=OFF" to the extra parameters

    i also added 3 paths because i am using letencrypt as a separate docker to handle my outside web requests.

    Name: Server.key
    Container Path: /data/ssl/server.key
    Host Path: /mnt/user/appdata/letsencrypt/keys/letsencrypt/privkey.pem

    Name: ca.crt
    Container Path: /data/ssl/ca.crt
    Host Path: /mnt/user/appdata/letsencrypt/keys/letsencrypt/chain.pem

    Name: server.crt
    Container Path: /data/ssl/server.crt
    Host Path: /mnt/user/appdata/letsencrypt/keys/letsencrypt/cert.pem

    this allowed imap connections to work without certificate errors. However when visiting the url i get a refused connection except on http://IP/admin
    i tried going to http://[IP]/webmail and it forwards to https://[IP]/webmail but i get a connection refused error

    in order to move forward i'm going to just download roundcube and set it up in my letencrypt docker so it can operate and will just forward the admin alias for poste administration.

    However if someone could tell me what i'm doing wrong please let me know.

  3. trying to sort out the whole reverse proxy with letsencrypt

    my proxy conf

    Quote

    server {
        listen 80;
        server_name mail.*;
        return 301 https://$host$request_uri;
    }

    server {
            listen 443 ssl http2;
            listen [::]:443 ssl http2;
            server_name mail.soulmate2022.com;
        include /config/nginx/ssl.conf;
        client_max_body_size 0;

            location / {
        include /config/nginx/proxy.conf;
                    resolver 127.0.0.11 valid=30s;

                    proxy_pass https://172.31.255.41/;
        proxy_buffering off;

            }

    }

    but when i visit my site i get a 502 error with bad gateway. However it works fine on the local lan.
    what am i missing?

    Thank you

  4. Just wanted to put this in here for anyone that loses the webgui after starting a minecraft server.

    i looked at the start file in the home directory of 'nobody' and noticed the start command for the webgui
    'cd /opt/mineos && /home/nobody/.nvm/versions/node/v8.17.0/bin/node ./service.js start'

    node also allows stop and status. So i replaced start with status and it said it was not running after starting the minecraft server

    so i then ran the start command above and this brought the webgui back up without having to stop and start the entire docker.

    hope this helps someone out there.

    I'm running unraid 6.7.2

    watch nvidia-smi does show the transcoder working and video plays fine. Just the error is bothering me because i'm trying to watch for the malformed image error and when someone that doesn't know how to use direct play on my server comes on i get spammed with this error.

    I had this error when I was mistakenly including a modprobe command in my go file which I think was exposing my quick sync cpu. I can’t remember which modprobe it was but as soon as I removed it and rebooted my plex logs no longer had the error.

    ..: or it could’ve been a coincidence and my reboot is the thing that solved it

    well i have no rebooted in a while... may have to give that a go.

  6. I'm hoping someone here can help.

    I keep getting a error in Plex Version 3.108.2

    Do you have a link be tween Sonarr and Plex? If yes, have you dis able it? If you haven't, we'll ignore you .
    No Link

    Do you have automatic library update on change / partial change? If yes, have you set it to hourly? If you haven't we'll ignore you.
    Scan my library automatically(Checked), Run a partial scan when changes are detected (Checked), Scan every 2 hours

    Disks are connected directly to motherboard.

    I continuously re-scan and start over every time a corruption happens. Trakt seems to make the corruption happen faster. I have cpu pinning to only use two of my cores however once it's corrupt all my cores jump to 100 percent at times. Even with no other dockers running.

  8. not sure what happened but got a message that my plex was down. logged into unraid and see all my cores and ram are at 100 percent but nothing is usable. no one connected. no file transfer nothing.

    not even sure what logs or where to begin. worried i'm going to corrupt all the databases again. so i don't want to just shut it down and loose the plex database yet again.
