    i very much appreciate your time and help. i don't feel comfortable sharing with the world my sn of the hard drives (or my computing habits) because it can lead to warranty theft/claims from unkown actors with simmilar hard drives . my suggestion would be to password protect the zip file and then pm the person looking into the case the password.

    thanks for your input. i will order new sata cables and replace them (to make sure i don't have a faulty cable). i will investigate the other isuues you raised as well. thanks! can i delete the diagnostic attachment now?
