I am running plex but using the TV service primarly for distribution around the house. I use zgemma boxes for freesat and dvbt tuners and when watching TV, particularly multiple HD channels at once, this pulls 100meg plus through the main network interface which is fine as its gbit but to keep things clean and this traffic off the network where its not needed I wanted to connect the zgemma network to a seperate gigabit interface on the server and have this interface made available to plex. Again, I know its not needed but then again I dont truly need an unraid server but here we are.
Currently the server has 3 interfaces, eth0 for the main unraid interface, eth1 for docker and eth2 would be for the zgemma network.
I cannot see a way to create a dhcp server in unraid, so I could statically assign IP's to the devices and one in the same subnet to this interface in unraid although DHCP would be nice.
I did a bit of googling and found that adding
&& docker network connect <network> <container>
will apparently add a second interface to plex but I am unsure is this a case of say br2 and plex as network and container name.
Any help appreciated. Attached an image for clarity.
