Yeah I will do that, was more wondering if it disables anything that I need to have running for it to work correctly or if there is any security or anything it disables, if not then ill leave it for a another day or three and see if it crashes and if it doesn’t then ill remove all the plugins and add them back in batches as you have advised.

Is there a way to find out what plugin could be the issue? does it matter long term if I run it in safe mode?

currently I have the System running in safe mode and its been online without issue for the last 15 hours and 33 minutes. I am wondering if one of the plugins is the issue? in saying that I will leave it in safe mode until it crashes or if it lasts longer than a week then I need to look at what is running on it. Does anyone know what safe mode disables?

My server crashed again tonight and I was able to download the syslog file from it before rebooting it. I'm hoping someone can give me some insight as I don't know what the issue is and I don't know what to look for? theforge-syslog-20200506-1109.zip

Hi All, I have recently upgraded my unraid server and moved it over to some new hardware, I am now finding the server will crash every few days. it will start with plex crashing or partially working, then I am unable to load the web gui for unraid or ping it. The only way to get unraid back up is by doing a hard reset on the server, as I am unable get the gui to load to reboot it or ssh into it. I setup so I could capture the system logs as I am hoping that will indicate what the issue is? I have attached the log file that was being sent another server that was capturing the log. The last crash was around 19:30 on 5/5/20 I am running the following UNRAID Version: 6.8.3 M/B: ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 6 Version - BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. Version P4.30. Thanks for the reply, sorry for the slow response. I have done all of the above and that has fixed the Cache issue, thank you for that. my other issue is when data is copying over to the raid the CPU will max out and I can't use the server until it's finished. thanks for any help. plex-server-diagnostics-20190715-0244.zip

Hey all, I am new to unraid and I need some help with fixing some issues I am having with it. I have installed plex in docker and it keeps crashing but I think it could be an issue with the appdata folder. I have a 1TB cache drive and its only using 17MB atm my plex folder is 40GB so it should be a lot larger if it was using the cache drive to hold it all. I have set the appdata folder to use the cache drive and also stopped docker and started the move process as its set to yes for cache, but its not moving the appdata folder? can anyone point me in the correct direction to fix this? the other issue I have is the CPU keeps maxing out and I can't find a reason as to why? as it does it when nothing is happening on the server. no plex nothing running? here are my specs. UNraid Version 6.7.1 2019-06-22 Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. - MAXIMUS V FORMULA Memory: 16 GB (max. installable capacity 32 GB) HDD: 6x 10TB Segate, 2x 10TB WD, 1x 1TB SSD 1x 500GB SSD Samsung Both are cache drives.
