  1. Something wrong with the UNRAID recently... Two issues i found. I am running on the latest Unraid 6.6.6. 1. Big video files of more than 40GB get stucked in cache, running countless times of mover still showing same. 2. Files and folders which was previously recovered from a broken unraid disk (lost+found) get stucked in cache... Previously i copy these lost+found to another synology NAS and then transfer back over network to UNRAID... I did transfer before and no issue. Only this particular time giving me headache. And now my cache is always full because these files and folders never get transfer by mover. I tried run the NEW PERMISSION on cache drive and still the same. Found no solution on the net and had to trouble anyone that can help.
  2. If i decided to forgo the data on disk5, can i reformat disk5 and bring the entire unraid online ?
  3. So meaning if i replace with a new disk on disk5, i cannot bring the unraid system online ?
  4. Since only disk 5 having issue, can i reformat disk5 and do a unraid rebuild using the parity disk ?
  5. I think i know what you mean, but i do not have spare computer.... This will require me to remove all the hdd cables and leave disk 5 alone...
  6. Can i connect disk 5 to a Windows 7 OS ? I remember last time i took out a disk and connect to Windows, it does not recognize the format and not able to see its content.
  7. how ? Now i cannot even mount disk5... everything i start unraid, disk 5 always showing unmounted... Only when i start with maintenance mode, then i can run check disk and rebuild etc... but the rebuild never 100% complete all the time everytime...
  8. i do not understand what do you mean ? how do i use the disk on another computer ? I only have Windows OS client.
  9. The HDD went to sleep and status stopped here.... reiserfsck 3.6.24 ************************************************************* ** Do not run the program with --rebuild-tree unless ** ** something is broken and MAKE A BACKUP before using it. ** ** If you have bad sectors on a drive it is usually a bad ** ** idea to continue using it.
