I assume that the key is married to the USB drive and that's why I cant move the key. Can I do an upgrade either before or after I move the USB drive to the new computer. Then once its upgraded get it to recognize the new array that already exists in the new computer?

ive already got two systems up and running and most of the files already transferred over. I really don't want to start over. Can I not just move the license?

My son was helping me for a little bit and he may have used it. The extension button is grey out.

I have an older system running v. 5.0 rc11 , I've built a new system v6.8.3 My new system is still on trial but about to expire. I need to extract the registration key from my old system and insert into the new. How do I pull the registration key? Also can I have both systems running the same key for a few more days? I haven't got all my files transferred over.

I have too many drives. Sixteen total but I'm on V5 with one parity drive. I'm going to push to V6 and add a second parity drive which will give me seventeen total. My hot swap case only holds fifteen and two drive will be just laying inside the case. Time to dump so old 250gig drives. FYI going to push to V6 before I do any drive removal

Is it possible to move the data off of a drive and have the drive permanently removed from the array?
