  1. Just out of curiosity, where exactly is this LED that blinks on the hard drive? I am confused!
  2. I figured it out. OS X actually sees the correct space, it is SABnzbd that does not recognize the space properly.
  3. I have restarted the server multiple times. AFP showed the right size, only SMB and NFS don't.
  4. I added another drive to my server yesterday which pushed me over the 4TB line. I was previously using Samba and connecting to it with my Mac. After adding the new drive it said that I only have 200GB free. I switched to NFS because I thought it would fix this problem. Unfortunately it didn't. I tried AFP before NFS but had some issues and read that the AFP database gets messed up if you share user shares. Can someone please help me fix this 4TB limit with either SMB or NFS? Thanks!
  5. I figured it out. I used Massive install to setup my box for my second attempt...for whatever reason it breaks atd and crond.
  6. Like I said this is the first time I have had any segfaults before it was just issued getting my servers to startup with the machine....Im pretty certain it isnt hardware. at worked great on my previous clean install attempts, so did crontab. Thanks...anybody out there know how to trace it?
  7. This is from my syslog: Feb 16 14:05:00 UNRAID kernel: atd[16232]: segfault at b78a351c ip b78a351c sp bf829744 error 15 in ld-2.11.1.so[b78a3000+1000] (Errors) Feb 16 14:05:01 UNRAID kernel: crond[16238]: segfault at b77ef51c ip b77ef51c sp bfa8ee14 error 15 in ld-2.11.1.so[b77ef000+1000] (Errors) Feb 16 14:10:01 UNRAID kernel: crond[17197]: segfault at b77ef51c ip b77ef51c sp bfa8ee14 error 15 in ld-2.11.1.so[b77ef000+1000] (Errors) Feb 16 14:12:00 UNRAID kernel: atd[17470]: segfault at b78a351c ip b78a351c sp bf829744 error 15 in ld-2.11.1.so[b78a3000+1000] (Errors) Any time I try to use the at command it gives me that error. Also plex has an entry every 5 minutes to make sure it is running and it gives me that segfault every 5 minutes as well. How can I trace these and figure out where my problem is? I have only been using unRAID for 3 days and have completed started from scratch twice already because for one reason or another each time I have a problem. This is the third time but first time I have had an issue with at or crontab... Please help! I really dont want to do it again tonight. If I do have to though how do I erase my parity drive before letting it sync...I think it wrote some data back that didnt match and was the culprit on some other issues I just finally got fixed a little bit ago.
  8. and it still installed everything , any idea why ? it installed transmission and all the other stuff air video ffmpeg etc. Thanks. I get those warnings as after i setup the things and then it starts by installing JRE Cheers Ah after more testing guess those packages i can't filter out unless i modify the script i guess to not download ffmpeg and jre etc I had the same issue with those errors. I fixed it with the information from http://linuxcommand.org/wss0100.php On each of those lines you have something like if [ $infoairvideo = 5 ] Change that to if [ "$infoairvideo" = "5" ] Problem solved
  9. I just found unRAID yesterday and have setup a server running plex/sabnzbd/sickbeard/couchpotato... I am having the exact issue that was mentioned in the original post. When I stop the array it hangs. If I look at the syslog it says my data folder which is in a user share is not empty so it can't unmount....over and over.... When I go look in the user share the only folder still there is the plex folder. I have tried everything I could think of. What is the proper way to shutdown plex to get the array to stop? The only way I can get it unhung is by issuing a reboot command in a telnet session. Please help!!
