  1. The author seems very active here, there are frequent updates to the plugin - sometimes coming quickly one after another.  I should probably buy him a beer or a cup of coffee at least 😃

    Hello.

I updated this morning to 2020.05.05a and now I am seeing this in the logs:

May 6 10:32:14 legion preclear_disk[29247]: error encountered, exiting...
May 6 10:34:49 legion preclear_disk[32017]: error encountered, exiting...
May 6 10:35:45 legion preclear_disk[660]: error encountered, exiting...

Since I had performed an update, I also tried completely removing the plugin and reinstalling it, but I am getting the same result.

I noticed the same thing, and tried the same.  Aside from the above error message, I also noticed this in the installation log:

I will assume that in my case the  Nerd Tools package upgraded some pre-requisites to a version higher than the script likes.

  3. Hi - I am looking to break my existing mirror of 2 x 500Gb SSDs so I can use one of the drives for another purpose.  Is there an easy / documented way to accomplish this?  My weak sauce google-fu only finds recovery options for replacing a dead mirror partner or adding a drive to create a mirror.

It should be easier for me since the cache only has temporary files on it, my appdata / docker / vm data is all on unassigned drives.

  4. I love the ease of use of unRAID.  Coming from a strong IT background I have used many different turnkey solutions and built many customized systems.  I really like the ability to easily add features whether it be plugins, VMs or Docker containers.  The ease of expanding the array is rather nice too.

I would love to see multiple array pools in the future, so I could have on for SSDs and another for spinners.  That being said, I do miss ZFS.

Well worth the money for a license, I have a Pro license with only 8 drives on it.
