Oh sorry, I didn't realize that using a trial key for a temporary system to migrate data was not allowed. My current USB is quite old, and I have had issues with it in the past. I would like to just transfer the license to a new USB stick, I don't care about my old configs, I would like to start at plain vanilla with my new hardware. Setting up shares, plugins, community apps, docker should not take too long. Yes I am aware it is beta/RC2, I was hoping for some feed back on how stable it is and how close to being finished. I have had a Pro license for about 6 years. Hardware stable, everything just works. I have not had time or bothered to keep up to date with newer versions (still on 6.11.5), again everything worked fine for years. Now my old hardware is getting long in the tooth, drives are closing in on 85-90% full, etc., and it is time to update to new motherboard and drives. Current system is an old server board, dual Xeons, lots of drive bays with shucked easystores. the motherboard was probably 10 years old back when I set it up. What I would like to do is a brand new config on a new USB for my new system and then copy my old data across as I see fit. I have quite a bit of custom configs with Docker and unassigned drives that I would like to sort out with the new features now available. 1. Can I setup a full new system on a Trial Key and have both systems parallel until I get my data moved? 2. Can I then copy my old USB license key to the new system? 3. Should I go straight to the version 7 RC2 and setup with the newer version and features?

The author seems very active here, there are frequent updates to the plugin - sometimes coming quickly one after another. I should probably buy him a beer or a cup of coffee at least 😃
