December 27, 20205 yr Hi all. I've migrated my system from an old i3 Mini PC to a 10400 Intel CPU with Asus mobo B460m-a. Everything went pretty smoothly but my windows VM has disappeared. That's no biggie as I intended to redo an install as I'd like to do some gaming. Ive got the same windows 10 iso as before and I don't change any settings(subsequently I've played around a bit but even with not changing the defaults) I get the message VM creation error and I'll attach image but says does not support virt type KVM?? I've had a look online and can't see any similar issues mentioned anywhere. Is there any obvious thing I'm missing?

I am having the same problem *Edit* Im dumb and forgot I had bought a new MOBO since I used my VM and didn't have virtualization enabled. Edited February 8, 20215 yr by Daftyler

March 3, 20215 yr I am having the same trouble. My processor supports "Intel VT-x" and I keep getting this error when setting up a VM. What can I do to fix it?
