  1. Roger ok will do. Im currently in safe mode doing a parity check just to fully make sure disks seem ok(Have had to do a lot of hard resets since this issue came up. NB I have also changed maclan to ipvlan as fix common problems came up with that as a possibility too, sadly changing and then restarting machine hasnt appeared to stop these shutdowns And im typing this on my windows VM that has survived the night over here in Australia A OK
  2. Hi all I've been having this bizarre and frustrating issue for maybe the last few weeks. As I said in the title, the vm launch crashes the server...it goes unresponsive and nothing loads so I have to hard reboot...sometimes is minutes, sometimes a cpl hrs after the vm is launched However.....i can launch in safe mode ie no plugins, and it works with and without the vm started. I can't share logs because it suddenly crashes and I lose it all....ive sat there with the logs open and at 1%, and all seems fine, then caput Ive tried this on 6.11.5, 6.12.1, and 6.12.3 but same issues As I said I don't believe I can get diagnostics in this instance? I guess at first I'm looking for maybe some advice.....what to look for? I'm assuming it must be a plugin but I have not many installed and those I do are mainly the mainstream ones..... Thank you for reading this cry for help all!
  3. How'd you end up with this issue? Mine on 6.11.5 has been working fine for almost 2 years but now seems to crash when I start my windows 10vm. However if I restart in safe mode with no plugins it seems to run fine....so I guess it may be a rogue plugin that is causing the issues
  4. Hey Flash size is only 4GB Imation drive. Ram I've got 2 x 8, so 16GB total. The RC updates have aall been great for me My main server also had issues with 2 of the earlier RC so I rolled them back because some buttons would not work and were unselectable specifically the individual start buttons for any VM or docker...but I could click the start all and then stop individual ones but not ideal...I'll probably try the new stable release to see if thats been ironed out too as I didnt see anyone else with those issues, and its a much more powerful server that one
  5. Updated my test/cctv server from 6.12.6RC to stable and have lost all plugins, and my Frigate instance wont start as a result. Is it an expectation that we'd have to reinstall plugins? Have reverted to the previous RC for now as late and dont want to lose camera AI overnight
  6. (POSTED IN WRONG TOPIC ORIGINALLY APOLOGIES) Ive upgraded from 6.11.5 to 6.12.0-RC3 and one of my 3 appdata 240gb drives has failed. This is ok, I also have another 240gb and a 512 m2 ssd in. Ive replaced the failed 240gb with another 512gb same model drive as the other. I mention this in case this is the reason for my issues....Any VMs or Docker containers that I have not got started when i click on them, they wont start. However if I click start all button at the bottom of the pages then they all start and work as expected which is bizarre...? Update to first post, appdata cache rebuilt A ok, I rebooted server and issue persists. So it acts as if the start button for each individual docker container from either the Dashboard or the main docker page cant actually be selected
  7. No, so sorry I thought I had posted in general bugs for 6.12, so sorry 😬 disregard!
  8. I waited for the balancing of the new appdata disk cache share to finish and then rebooted it again and still the same behaviour so I have downgraded back to 6.11.5 sorry. If Im feeling risky Ill try again tomorrow when kids at daycare, but I think it must have been something in this RC(Not that ive tried thew 2 previous I should add) but I went from 6.10.3 early this morning to 6.11.5 stayed there for an hourish to make sure all was stable and 'normal' which it was which is why I then went up to the RC and then thats when it seemed to happen....the start button was there but couldnt be pressed so to speak, same behaviour on the home screen as the docker page
  9. Ive upgraded from 6.11.5 to 6.12.0-RC3 and one of my 3 appdata 240gb drives has failed. This is ok, I also have another 240gb and a 512 m2 ssd in. Ive replaced the failed 240gb with another 512gb same model drive as the other. 10. OK, further to before, Ive finally managed to get my Quaddro P600 as HW accel. Ive got a Coral on order coming in next week or two so I wont be doing case B. I just wanted to again say thanks so much for your help on here for myself and many others. I know you werent Frigate creator, but massive kudos to you for all that you've done in the support for us
  11. OMFG I am a goose...I was looking for the Extra PArameters section at the bottome where you can add a device, path etc...what a fool I am so sorry, I havent progressed yet as have the kids on school holidays but now I know a 1% more than I did before, sorry for you having to talk to me as if I was a pre-teen! Thanks again Yayitazale(and Flubster!)
  12. Could you please post a pic of your config with the extra parameters part. Now whenI set it up and then in Frigate console write nvidia-smi all i get it: sh: 1: nvidia-smi: not found yet the nvidia plugin is installed and my GPU has its identifying code from there in the config too...this is so frustrating
  13. Hey sorry Flub, was this extra parameters BEFORE we list the individual cameras in the config, ie after putting in the mqqt settings? Im getting so many red herrings at the moment I getting very confused....so near yet so far?!!!
  14. Flub...love that name lol Thanks so much bud will be trying all this asap...and will report back...thanks so much bud!
