Windows 10 vm crashes the whole system 6.11.5-6.12.3
Roger ok will do. Im currently in safe mode doing a parity check just to fully make sure disks seem ok(Have had to do a lot of hard resets since this issue came up. NB I have also changed maclan to ipvlan as fix common problems came up with that as a possibility too, sadly changing and then restarting machine hasnt appeared to stop these shutdowns And im typing this on my windows VM that has survived the night over here in Australia A OK

Windows 10 vm crashes the whole system 6.11.5-6.12.3
Hi all I've been having this bizarre and frustrating issue for maybe the last few weeks. As I said in the title, the vm launch crashes the server...it goes unresponsive and nothing loads so I have to hard reboot...sometimes is minutes, sometimes a cpl hrs after the vm is launched However.....i can launch in safe mode ie no plugins, and it works with and without the vm started. I can't share logs because it suddenly crashes and I lose it all....ive sat there with the logs open and at 1%, and all seems fine, then caput Ive tried this on 6.11.5, 6.12.1, and 6.12.3 but same issues As I said I don't believe I can get diagnostics in this instance? I guess at first I'm looking for maybe some advice.....what to look for? I'm assuming it must be a plugin but I have not many installed and those I do are mainly the mainstream ones..... Thank you for reading this cry for help all!

Unraid Crashes When Starting VM with GPU Passthrough
How'd you end up with this issue? Mine on 6.11.5 has been working fine for almost 2 years but now seems to crash when I start my windows 10vm. However if I restart in safe mode with no plugins it seems to run fine....so I guess it may be a rogue plugin that is causing the issues

Unraid OS version 6.12.0 available
Hey Flash size is only 4GB Imation drive. Ram I've got 2 x 8, so 16GB total. The RC updates have aall been great for me My main server also had issues with 2 of the earlier RC so I rolled them back because some buttons would not work and were unselectable specifically the individual start buttons for any VM or docker...but I could click the start all and then stop individual ones but not ideal...I'll probably try the new stable release to see if thats been ironed out too as I didnt see anyone else with those issues, and its a much more powerful server that one

Unraid OS version 6.12.0 available
Updated my test/cctv server from 6.12.6RC to stable and have lost all plugins, and my Frigate instance wont start as a result. Is it an expectation that we'd have to reinstall plugins? Have reverted to the previous RC for now as late and dont want to lose camera AI overnight

Could you please post a pic of your config with the extra parameters part. Now whenI set it up and then in Frigate console write nvidia-smi all i get it: sh: 1: nvidia-smi: not found yet the nvidia plugin is installed and my GPU has its identifying code from there in the config too...this is so frustrating
-
[SUPPORT] blakeblackshear - Frigate
Hey sorry Flub, was this extra parameters BEFORE we list the individual cameras in the config, ie after putting in the mqqt settings? Im getting so many red herrings at the moment I getting very confused....so near yet so far?!!!

I have read through to the best of my(layman!) knowledge, but the old format hardware accel presets....they're at frigate.video under hardware acceleration in the documentation so I assumed these were right? Hi there, thanks for taking the time, to be honest Case A would have been fine, case B even better...Ive replied under each of your line replies to make it easier Thanks again for your support, and this amazing software! ok, so I have now got Frigate 12 setup and running. working fine so far, have added the Nvidia P600 in the template with its ID, yet to put in config. Whereabouts and what do I write for it? Ive run ffmpeg -decoders | grep cuvi And my results as below, but I am still confised where I add the P600 to the config and what exactly it should read Am I right in thinking I should have this, at the start of my config under my MTQQT broker login details?: ffmpeg: hwaccel_args: preset-nvidia-h264 assuming thats the decoding I would like done on my cameras? Afternoon all (cross posted late from a Reddit post but with further details) Hello my fellow Unraiders. Recently moved over from Blue Iris in a windows 10 VM in (Unraid 6.10.3 should that matter) to Frigate....OMFG it's just incredible, with deepstack(not convinced yet) double take and compreface(wow again) but my CPU is taking a bit of a hit as Im also using it for various other things Plex, RR's, Windows gaming VM etc etc so... I've reinstalled my old Quadro p600 but cannot for the life of me see where I'm supposed to add it to the config file as well as the unraid docker template (assuming this needs to be done)....I'm Using Frigate 11 currently(yes I have seen the move but Id like to gedt this working 100% before I then delve into that if at all poss...I'll add my botch job config file here if I may, removing the sensitive stuff of course....Id just like to confirm do I edit the config adding a GPU device line and/OR I read something about GPU=all and that's confused me somewhat. Secondly what and where would I put the Quadro GPU info into the config? Ive downloaded the Nvidia GPU plugin to get the ID of that GPU, but Im unsure from there where to go.....and again to the maker/contributor of Frigate....words cannot express enough this is amazing software, and I plan on contributing for sure...after all I paid a fair chunk of change for Blue Iris and it is not anywhere near the standard of Frigate! Hi all Reposting with the zip error on this drive...I'll start a disk rebuild in disk 10 which is disabled which runs for a couple of hours it feels like before then I come back to check on progress and it's paused. I unpause it and it changes to a parity read check.....I'm clueless re the log so hoping some good person can have a look for me to help guide the way thanks all! tower-smart-20221010-0024.zip

Worked out how to get from my phone.....lots of errors it looks like....could it be worth swapping out cables or just give up on the disk? I don't think it's more than 18-24 months old though...

PAUSES(with zip file this time)
So, as above, running 6.10.3 and I saw I had a disk disabled so I checked the connections after powering down, ran cpl of the smart tests, and all appeared fine. So I followed the guide of stopping the array, removing the disk from the list, restarting/stopping and then re-adding....it sees it as a replacement disk and starts the parity rebuild but then after some hours, I come back to the server page and it has paused. The 10tb drive rebuild has paused, and if I unpause it, it comes up with my 14tb parity check.....I cannot see this behaviours anywhere else, I'm not sure if it's an error on my part or.....? Please help I've tried this a few times and keeps doing the same thing! Will cross post with Unraid forums too in the hope I get some help
