I am looking at running my IP cams on my server. What I would ideally like to be able to do is dedicate an external HDD with unassigned devices to just hold the recordings completely separate from the array. I am looking for an option for a wall mounted (or possibly recessed like a wall safe) strong box with pass throughs so I could still run power and data cable to it. This way, if someone were to come nab my server, the drive with the recording of what happened would be left behind. I am not even sure if what I am looking for exists. Anyone know any possible solutions?
