2 Gaming "Rigs" with a Single GPU?

Featured Replies

Hi there, I was wondering what I could achieve using this system:

CPU: R5 2600
GPU #1: 980Ti ( Here's the main question actually, I would like to use this GPU for both OS's ).
GPU #2: GTX 260 ( for UNRAID Server/OS )
x2 SSD ( A400 SATA & A2000 NVMe )
x1 1080p 144hz Monitor ( a friend would come with his 1080p screen, kb, mouse, in case two monitors is necessary for the setup I have old in my basement ).
PSU: TX850M
RAM: 2x8GB

Games intended to play: Nothing heavy, probably GTA FiveM, no need of super high fps, 40ish is fine and CS:GO which would be ideal w/ 120fps+.
The thing is that few of my friends uses Laptops which doesn't perform that well so I guess that could be great solution to play together having reasonable performance.

Any ideas if that would work out?

Are you intending to use the GPU for 2 gaming VMs simultaneously? If so then no it would not. To my knowledge software to share a single GPU between multiple running VMs does not exist for consumers.
