Docker Service failed to start after deleting vDisk file.

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

My UNRAID Server has giving me tons of issues after a couple of power-outs in the neighborhood. A couple of questions:

- Docker Plugins were very unstable

- I removed the Docker Image so it can undergo a rebuild. However, it wont turn on now and it also wont rebuild an image file. Its giving me this issue:

Docker Service Not Enabled - Only Plugins Available To Be Installed Or Managed

- For Cache, I have both 240GB and 120GB Drives. However, only a total of 180GB is showing. Any way I can get the full 240+120?

I've posted diagnostics file.

Please help!

Thank you.

Your cache is full.

To get total combined capacity of different sized disks in the pool you must use Single mode:

And as a result some of your system share has gone to the array. Probably simplest to just delete the share and let it be recreated on cache after you get your cache fixed. Do you have any VMs?

The reason you filled cache is because you have set most of your user shares to cache-prefer. Prefer means prefer to keep all files on cache permanently. Typically you only want appdata, domains, and system shares as cache-prefer.

Set the other shares to cache-yes and run mover so they will get moved to the array.

Thank you so much! This has brought me up to 360GB. I don't need any RAID0/1 Config for Cache so this is very helpful!

I've actually reconfigured my Cache Settings to "Prefer" only on Appdata, Domains, and System Shares and the rest on Regular Drives and it's been performing much better. I have a computer running BlueIris which doesn't record/save any footage due to a "Full" drive and this seems to also have fixed the issues.

Thank you so much everyone! For some reason, I always thought it was more of a firmware issue.

Did you actually set them to cache-yes and run mover?
