I'm planning to upgrade my unraid server :

Current Build :

  • Intel® Core™ i7-4820K CPU @ 3.70GHz
  • Motherboard ASUS P9X79
  • GTX 770
  • 16gb DDR3
  • 4x 4To iron Wolf NAS PRO
  • 1 Samsung 850 evo 1to
  • Case fractal design define r7


Goal Build:
 

  • Asrock Z590 Extreme (intel CPU ?) or Asrock X570 Extreme4 with a Ryzen 3900x
  • LSI SAS 9207-8i
  • 4x 4To iron Wolf NAS PRO + 2 x 4To iron Wolf NAS PRO + 1 Samsung 850 evo SSD 1to
  • 2 Samsung 980 PRO 250 Go NVME Cache ?
  • Additional Network card 4slot (mother board got 1 2.5gb port or 2)
  • Maybe p2000 for transcoding
  • Case fractal design define r7
  • Cooling with a Noctua Dh-15
  • Corsair HX750 Platinium



Usage:

  • Multimedia : Plex, Radarr, Sonarr, Bazarr, and downloaders....
  • Game Server : ARK, Barotrauma and for sure others
  • WEB : nextcloud, Bitwarden, share solution and webhosting.
  • Home Automation
  • Sys : Lab environment for training with automation and new tools. (VM)



If you have any advice, I will take them it will help me not wasting money on parts and make the right choice.
