Unraid Wireguard Split Tunnel to Home LAN

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

Recently the internet at my office was upgraded to a gigabyte connection, and since our electricity there is pretty much free I decided to put our house Unraid server there. For the most part I'm able to access everything I need from it remotely, but I have a number of times where I used to access the SMB shares with our smart TV's, phones, tablets, etc for random things.

I was hoping I could use Wireguard on the server in client mode to connect to the wireguard server on our firewall in a split tunnel configuration. I was able to get it working with my phone and laptop, but when I connect with the unraid server, there's no handshake. Is there something special I need to do with the subnet settings to make this work?

Please read the WireGuard quickstart guide and post any questions in that thread:

Also, be sure your WireGuard plugin is up to date :)
