Network drops

Featured Replies

My network keeps dropping every few days and sometimes overnight.  Any help would be appreciated.  Everything on the network works fine except can't connect to tower.  I am in GUI mode and server looks fine but eth0 port shows down sometimes.

Looks like a NIC problem, I would try a different one, Intel preferred.

Also lots of ATA errors:

This is parity, could be a cable issue, could be the Marvell controller.

This is disk2, same Marvell controller but with a SATA port multiplier, could also be a cable issue but Marvell controllers and port multipliers should not be used with Unraid.

Intel SATA controller is set to IDE mode and only has one disk connected, set it to AHCI and use those ports before any add-on controller.

O.K, thanks looking to go with an AMD processor and motherboard.   Will this work?

Yes, but there are some known stability issues, I would recommend going with Intel for Unraid/Linux.
