ule_1
Hey all, I had created a gaming VM last week, and mapped a network share from my Unraid server, to store my steam library in. I'm not sure what has happened in between, however, steam seems to have disconnected from the library. When I try to add a new, or the existing library, steam throws up an error "new steam library folder must be writeable". I have tried playing with folder permissions, running steam as admin and many other suggestions on the web (including this guide https://forums.unraid.net/topic/96689-guide-how-to-use-a-share-as-a-steam-library/). I can write/delete files to the share through OSX or Windows without any issues. Any ideas as to why steam is throwing up this error? Quote Link to comment
