PowerEdge R620 - BIOS Settings

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a R620 that I would like to setup with UnRaid.  I seen a lot of people with R710, R610, R720, etc with UnRaid setups.  What are the BIOS setting you have used to be successful in install?  I have gotten to the GUI setup but networking cuts out during loading of OS to RAM.  I have taken a spare PC with a few drives to practice with the UnRaid OS but would love for the final, if purchased lives on my R620.

  1. BIOS Boot instead of UEFI
  2. Boot to USB
    1. FDD
  3. ?

As Always thanks in advance for taking the time.

I'm having this same problem with an R710. I have two of them, one boots unRAID 6.9.2 in BIOS (NOT UEFI) mode fine, but the other R710 will not boot unRAID 6.9.2 at all even with a BIOS USB flash drive that works on the other R710!

The real problem I'm seeing is that the BIOS appears to be configured IDENTICALLY so there's clearly something I'm missing somewhere.

Wich BIOS-Version is installed? Are the other Firmwares the latest? I have a R620 too and everything is working fine.
