Open VPN und Https

Hi, i thought about a OVPN Setup and would appreciate your support.

The idea is to run an open VPN server on my pfsense box and access this Box securely from the internet. Behind the Box there would be my Unraid server in my LAN, on this server there where some Docker containers running on http instead of https.

I understand the connection this way:

• OVPN Client from somewhere Internet <<<Secure OVPN Tunnel>>> PFSENSE BOX  (NAT/LAN) <<<HTTPS self signed (secure)>>> Unraid server <<<HTTP connection, not secured >>> Docker Container (e.g. Nextcloud) running on HTTP. 

Is it advisable to run the containers on http instead of https:

• in this special config (does the last connection only on http cause a security issue by accessing from outside via OVPN?
• in general within a LAN with no access from WAN.
