Unraid OS Trial - no connection

Featured Replies

This is my first time setting up a server and using unraid. I have spent the entire weekend attempting to understand and solve issues that I have been running into.

Right now, the Array has "Stopped." with "Invalid, missing or expired registration key." I started my trial yesterday and had started the array. It has since then stopped and has left me clueless. I have also been unable to add the app community and have received the following error:

Plugin:

Error:

My server and personal computer accessing unraid in the browser are both in the same network, connected via ethernet. My ISP is google. I am being told "Network failure" but am unsure what that means, as everything is on the same network. Please advise, thanks!

The system was unable to download the plugin installation file from github. There could be a number of reasons for that, but one thing that's often overlooked is that for https (encrypted) connections to work the system clock needs to be reasonably accurate. A wrongly set date could also explain why your licence has appeared to expire. Go to Settings -> Date and Time and make sure the date and timezone are set accurately and get the time set reasonably accurately, too (within 10 minutes should be close enough to start with). If it's old hardware you might need a new lithium cell. Ntp should keep the time accurately in sync in the long term.

Someone had mentioned in the forums here that I had to set the system times to UTC. I did that and initially it allowed me to successfully set the drive as a key. Are you saying that I need to set the system clocks back to my timezone?

Okay, I just adjusted to my timezone... but still no luck. Also, the boards on both devices are brand new.
