"Warning: syntax error, unexpected end of file, ..." Now no Array no Shares (Resolved)

Featured Replies

I tried to add a SSD as the only cache drive, and manually run the mover overnight, and the Unraid server just stopped working.

Got a few of those messages on my Web UI.

Warning: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting TC_DOLLAR_CURLY or TC_QUOTED_STRING or '"' in state/disks.ini on line 273 in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DeviceList.php on line 24

After that, if I refresh the web UI all the shares are gone and Array is stopped.

By the look of the error message It might be to do with Unassigned Plugin, but I just updated it to the latest, and it didn't fix my issue.

I have a couple of empty Disks on the Array, but the other three are almost full.

When I rebooted the Unraid server, it looks fine for a few minutes, but the Web UI then show all those error messages.

As it's a relative new Setup, I can re-create the config from scratch, or re-install it's on a new USB drive.

I have no clue what could be the problem.

And here is my df does it looks normal?

oot@Tower:~# df -h

I can't download the diagnostic file from the UI menu, but found a couple of them in the /boot/logs, let me know if they could be helpful to figure out the problem.

Thanks

Paul

You have filled up rootfs somehow. Do you run any dockers?

Don't think I've managed install any docker at all, still learning to use Unraid.

How do I check Docker from terminal, the UI doesn't show docker  as there is no Array.

  • Community Expert

docker.img isn't mounted anyway.

Reboot in SAFE mode.

Thanks for the hint, I removed files supposed to write into /mnt/sharing directory but written into /mnt/auto created new directory same as the sharing directory which is in '/'. Now it better.

But I added five drives into Array and Share but only three is counted as the share size. I think it's different issue.

Thanks for the input. I am having other issues as I have five disks but can only utilize three of them in the share, but the immediate issue is resolved.
