March 12, 201115 yr I was about to run another preclear when I noticed the line stating Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundry. Does this matter in any way? Do I need to change anything? Thanks in advance. March 12, 201115 yr This is normal. Disks have not had fixed size cylinders for probably 20+ years. The warning was meaningful 20+years ago, but not now. Since the "geometry" presented to the bios is completely faked, so is the reporting of simulated "fixed size cylinders". (trust me, you do not have the reported 255 disk heads, as that would imply 127 1/2 disk platters with a read/write head on each side of each platter. The most densely packed modern disks have 3 to 5 platters.)
