Adding FC Functionality

Featured Replies

Howdy! Trying to add FC HBA to my server, but honestly have no idea what I'm doing.  Am successfully running a quad-port FC HBA in my R610 ESXi, a dual-port FC HBA in my R730 FreeNAS, and an identical single-port FC in my R710 Centos backup server.  The last remaining piece is the UNRAID server. It shows up in the OS but I can't find any configuration options for it in the web GUI. I've scoured this forum and tried all manner of the listed suggestions (and watching the oft-posted How to setup 10GB Ethernet easily and cheaply on uNRAID), but am at a loss.

It would appear the card requires the qla2xxx kernel module, and that the UNRAID-included qla3xxx does not support it, but I honestly have no idea. I've been a unix admin for 20+ years but fairly new to storage solutions so any assistance is appreciated, thank you!

I replaced the Qlogic with the dual-port Intel card, and while progress is made with the ixgbe module loading, I'm still unable to utilize the device.
