Registration Key 2-Packs

Featured Replies

I am ready to buy my unraid license.  I only have 1 unraid server and can't ever see myself needing another one.  Is that what the 2-Pack is for or would it also be a $30 insurance policy in case my flash drive died on me?  My flash drive is inside my case, so there is little chance of physical damage.  How often do flash drives die?  Are there some brands that are more reliable than others?

thanks,

Murray

The second key is an insurance policy that you can operate should the first one fail.

Otherwise you will need to make a request to limetech and that can take a period of time depending on the support load.

Another reason to have a second key is in the case you decide to upgrade to another machine. You can build a second machine while the first is still active. Then copy files over the network or move drives as you need.

As much as people will say flash drives last a long time. One of mine lasted only a couple years.

I did do a fair amount of writes to the flash, but still it did die!
